Tasuh decided it was best not to argue for his own reasons, then left the two and went towards the food.
|
"You know, running away from problems never helps to fix your relationship. Get back here and make-up with her, for both of your sakes."
|
Arianna sighed, "Don't bother with him. He can be mad all he wants... I guess I should have left the cloak in the room for him." She shook her head, "'If you take my vials again, I will kill you'... some bodyguard he is... I'm gonna need a bodyguard to guard me from him..." She muttered.
|
Being still teenage, and immature, and true to nature, Tycho said,
"I'm available." |
"No thanks." She said to him, "I'm not too worried about Tasuh." She sighed, "I guess I'll get some food now, since the line has shortened." She said, changing the subject, "I hope they don't mind that Palidor is in here."

Zatara casualy waltzed in and sat down I've got a bad feeling about this he said Hiding some spell compnets as he looked at the meal it looked nice though he ate earlier. He took some food and sat a table a person from the hallway last night...
OOC. Wow all this in one night... |
ooc-Darilk is referred to as the "Pretty Pretty" knight because that's how Krylo referred to his character in PMs. That, and he reminds me of a slightly less crazy/genocidal Sephiroth.
After grabbing a little bit more food Ripel went and sat beside the dark knight. I hope he's not planning to kill me. Or worse, ask for a raise. Unsure what to expect, he decided to be straightforward. "What is it?" he asked as he set down his plate. |
(OOC: ...urge to ask for raise rising... maybe I will.)
Darilk's expressionless face turned toward the merchant. "Apparently we are to be inducted into this... Veimi's personal forces. As you have pointed out, I am still under contract by you, and as such I can not, honorably, take on another position. I must either part ways with you now, or request greater payment if you wish me to continue protecting you under this man's service, as that I'm certain your induction will last longer than my current contract, and compensations, carry through. Before you answer, understand that you are entering a military organization... and you will most likely need protection. Either way, I refuse to work for this man." His part having been said, Darilk turned back toward his food calmly, waiting for the merchant to decide. (OOC: First the OOC reason for Darilk turning down his position: I have a feeling Veimi is going to be a bad guy [I'm actually 99% sure]... if Darilk falls under contract with him, he won't be able to honorably fight him. The IC reason, however, is simply that Darilk doesn't want to be bogged down in a military organization... so he'll be coming along as Ripel's bodyguard [making Ripel his boss], but not as a member of Veimi's forces.) |
Tasuh went over to the closet table, carrying several plates overfilled with food, then began to inhale the food. Every now and then he would take a quick drink from the large bottle of blue liquid he brought with him.

Ripel smiled, but his eye twitched. Damn it. So, he does want a raise...bleh, why doesn't he just kill me now? You see, Ripel likes, no, loves money, almost more than he loves his life. Almost, of course, because if he were dead that would mean he wouldn't make any more money and no more money is bad, wether he was alive or dead, and in this case he would be dead which would make it even worse, and that is really bad. So now he was in a fix; if Darilk wasn't there then he was more vunerable to dying, which would mean he was more vunerable to not making any more money. However, if he did give Darilk a raise then he definately was losing some money, which was not good, and...
He just realized that a minute or two had just passed by with him just sitting there, smiling and twitching. I guess I have to answer. "Well...while I have heard that the position is only honorary, I have not heard much else about the induction. If it means we must absolutely take part in its activities, you may refuse to join. If not, well, it wouldn't hurt either way I guess, and you would still get to choose. "In any case...how about I simply pay you on a regularly over an indefinite period of time? Not all at once, probably a set amount of gil once a week for every week you work along with me. What do you say?" ooc-What makes you think Veimi will be the first villain? For me, I'd say it'd probably be the mysterious people he meets with. |
