Armored Core 4 Ideas
This thought just came to me, obviously it's about armored core.
Now, we all know that armored core is the End-all Be-all of mech fighting related video games, but today I had a thought of some new features that would be a nice addition: 1)Some arms and legs that can punch and kick so long as they are not holding something 2)Have a 2nd player-controlled consort in missions 3)Online compatible 4)Two different arms, i.e. one weapon arm and one arm with a sword/gun/shield/etc. 5)Change the color of your weapons 6)Advanced movement tutorials so someone can learn to move like I can This is all I got, I really like talking about this game so please reply |
How about cores that turn around faster then a snail pooping out a turd?
I'm friends with krain, this isn't being rude. |
I know the feeling of a sluggish turning circle. Though any EXPERIENCED Raven knows ways around it. Anyway I've heard limited news of AC4 (dubbed Armored Core: Nexus). Apparently yes it will be online so we can all have fun smacking the crap out of eachother's AC's over the net. Other things I've heard is it will be two discs: past and future. The Past disc has alot of the older missions which have been revamped for those of you who feel like being nostalgic and the future disc has totally new missions.
Ont thing I would like to see is the full expoitation of the online capability in that you can have your friends as wingmen during missions. (this of course meaning that the pay is divided two/three ways) |
Thank you!
I was beginning to think that no one else played armored core I also agree that the turning speed is not a problem and that tyler is just a hapless weenie when it comes to armored core. The online thing would really be nice 'cuz I've only played two people who even come close to my skill in the game, One is my oldest brother (who introduced me to the game), he lives about 1200 miles away from where I live now. The other moved to California last year (which is about 2000 miles away from here). Even then, I surpassed my brother by the time AC2AA came out, and my friend was never really up to me (but he was close). Needless to say, the next armored core will be far more bitchin' than anything that has ever bitched before. |
I've barely touched the AC series, I checked out Silent Line from work when it came out. All in all an extremely cool game, it's been on my 'to buy' list for quite some time.

I still have yet to play AC3, so im unsure of what improvements to suggest.
however, AC2 was a hella rad game, and from my experience with AC1 & 2, and what i've seen of AC3, i know the company is always progressing the game further and making cooler and cooler weapons. |
*sniff* being an australian I haven't had the opportunity to play AC3:SL yet. It hasn't been released over here yet. I'm literally praying they do though.

Armored Core 4 will be online? Yes! No one I know has ever really gotten into the AC series, so I never had anyone to go against until now. This is going to rock...
And if they revamp old boss fights, I want another go at the final version of 8-Ball from AC: MOTA. I never beat it before, and I lost the save when my memory card went screwy, so I want another chance to take it on... |
This website has some decent information on AC: Nexus. I feel I must correct myself after seeing this site. The discs are named Revolution and Evolution.

2) Cool. 3) Aren't they working on that? 4) It makes sense to have 2 arms multicompatable rather then 1 sword/shield and 1 gun. 5) Even though the guns are cool enough, it makes you wonder, would it affect the sell cost? 6) Honestly all you have to do is watch the "Gundum" series. Back and forth, strafe alot, in the air when locked on, and backwords if he has a sword and is close. Overall, great ideas. |
