A Zero Punctuation Tribute

This is the first in possibly a series of Zero Punctuation style reviews wherein I talk about shitty games very quickly with diagrams and pictures to illustrate a point.

It took in the neighborhood of twelve hours, using audacity for some minor audio editting, paint for the drawn pictures, google image search for the real pictures, completely legal software for the paperboy and contra screenshots, and windows movie maker to put it all together.

It was very enjoyable to make and I hope you guys like it.

I dont know if you can really call it a tribute since the guy that does Zero Punctuation hates those that copy his style with a passion that will never die. Personally its no big deal to me, just saying

Says the man with the slow, American droll (sorry) with music that doesn't fit to the game at all ("Bicycle" by Queen would have been so much better) and a potentially funny script that was delivered with enough enthusiasm to kill a wanna-be emo (rather than a fully fledged one)

All in all: a 6.Meh

(Sorry)

It was fun, but it would have been beter if the timing was better, and more changes occured in images, such as you see the sudden movement of the paper bundle from the bisycle to the lawn, to the window.
I did get the point though, if the point was: paperboy is crazy, that is.

Anyways, I think you should go with that Bobbeh mentioned:

If you talked in the same pace, but with no emphasis on any words at all, and made sure to make no rude comments, I think I would laugh more. But that might just be me.

a 5,5.

way to long but otherwise kickass
though no where near the quality of yahzee i think you did fine

TDK 02-18-2008 05:36 PM

Doc ock: Yeah, I didn't think it would be that long when I wrote it.

Bobbeh: Are you calling me emo?

TDK you know how sometimes a pilot should just stay a pilot?

Also: Don't talk so close to the mike. Popping is bad.

Lord of Joshelplex 02-18-2008 08:43 PM

I dunno, I liked it. Put the Mic a tad farther from yer mouth, and maybe try to add more personal flair. I figure if it was less ZP, it could be really good.

I turned it off about halfway through.

One of the best draws to Yahtzees reviews is the fervor with which he slams games (Also the accent!) of which you lacked and while the commentary was alright, it was underwhelming overall.
