Transformers Animated: Sound & Fury superior, Humans inferior....

Wow, just wow. I can't say any more than that without major spoilage. Even then, I think the title might be a giveaway. Inviso-text go!

Okay, I just loved this episode. Not only is it a great re-imagining of Soundwave, but I loved the homages they threw in. Twice, they had a box that looked just like Soundwave's old tape deck. Plus, did you catch the Kremzeek graphic?

It was on the TV, sort of a Technical Difficulties graphic. But boy howdy, was it fun to spot.

I've only got two disappointments for this episode. One, the voice could've been a tad better. But I can live with it.

The other thing that is an utter crime? NO FRIGGING LASERBEAK!

And also, I suppose Soundwave's ability to control machines was a bit overdone. Maybe if their were proximity limits, it'd be a bit better.

Still, two thumbs way up!

You know after seeing all these episodes I'm starting to think, do we even want Megatron to ever fight? He is on par with BW Megatron and thats saying alot. Even without doing anything himself he can do alot of damage.

Though I dont get why he sends everyone after the autobots immediately. Someone that clever should know to amass an attack force first

[edit] whats Kremzeek? I saw the graphic, but it doesn't ring any bells

You are officially dead to me.

And it wouldn't shock me if the entire episode is up on YouTube. (Not that I checked or anything, that would be wrong.)

Also, in side news Jizzatoys has finished their own Powerglide.

cut me some slack, I was 6 when G1 was in re-runs

Bah. No excuse, you little welp. Lousy kids not knowing every Transformers episode by heart. Back in my day...

Ack, my Old Man Hip!

A joke from the Allspark forums that I just had to share.

I saw the Kremzeek and I was like, "WOAH! KREMZEEK!" even in the little high-pitched voice and everything.

Kat gave me an odd look.

So yeah, great episode. I'm not liking the fact that Megatron really seems to be engineering a 'Bot Of The Week' plot, what with "I will make a new body, then test drive it, CURSES THE AUTOBOTS DESTROYED IT." It is, however, nice to have that he's making some that get destroyed and some that mysteriously remain unharmed, like Soundwave or Blackarachnia. It's going to make a pretty nice story arc once the Autobots become a cohesive team with battle tactics and they have to actually fight them instead of taking care of small-time crimes and joining together to fight a single Decepticon.

I am liking the fact that Decepticon - bots of pure war - are a real threat but I'm not liking the Autobot's incompetence.

There's also the fact that Sari seems to learn that "I shouldn't use the key that often" every goddamn week. I know she's a kid but all the same.

But yeah great episode. I didn't catch up on my TF:A until today, and I saw the Blackarachnia episode too. I love how they're being very distinct about each person's unique ability, with Elita-One/BA's Mega-Man like copy power, Prime's foamsprays/grapplehooks, Ratchet's magnets (And the EMP to a lesser note), etc.

In a side note, I want an Animated Sentinel toy. It's like Captain America for Autobots. Awesome.

Eh, from what I've seen the Autobots are the ones that have been getting increasingly concerned over Sari's use of the key. She's only *JUST* starting to catch onto the fact that it isn't all fun & giggles.

Yeah, Megatron's attempts at facilitating himself a new body, are getting old. However, reading the synopsis, it looks like he's finished with that. The Autobot's incompetence looks like it'll be a plot element.

They're still learning the ropes of the whole fighting thing, versus their old jobs. Heck, most of the time one Super Villain or Decepticon is enough to finish off the whole team.

Its nice to know that the autobots know how potentially dangerous that key is. It however is not nice that they still leave it in the hands of a little girl. Thats the reason I hated the humans in most TF series. Nine times out of ten they are screwing things up

As for Megs body, I wonder how they will handle it. I mean if they maintain the old "megatron is the strongest decepticon" then combine that with his tactical knowledge, autobots would be beaten, blasted, then reduced to ash.

Judging by how his scar was still on his arm at the end of the episode, I'm guessing he didn't keep it, though I dont see why he wouldn't.

I'm just waiting for the inevitable Megatron Beating Starscream Into Scrap episode. If it's anything like Transformers: Infiltration, it'll be awesome.

Thank god.

Thing about that, is where the heck is Starscream? I know he'll come back, but you gotta wonder what the AllSpark did to him. It nearly killed Optimus (or did kill, depending on your point of view).

Also, for some reason the Autobots think that since the AllSpark gave Sari the key, they must let Sari keep the key without question. Of course, the AllSpark might have created the Autobots, but its also responsible for the Decepticons.

If the AllSpark had a personality, I would think it might be like Sarda's. Just one supreme A-hole who likes to Eff with everyone. I mean why else would it have given supreme power to a hyperactive little girl, with attention deficit disorder.
