Ultimate attack
If the Light Warriors had a Super-powerful combo attack, what would it look like? Best suggestion by the first 20 post gets 100 brownie points. After that, just for fun.
Here's my idea- Fighter uses some sort of magic-absorbtion sword technique, while simultaniously passing it(the sword) to Thief, who uses knife-throwing skills to toss it high into the air. Black Mage then uses a hadoken on it, which is absorbed. Red Mage casts a fireball at it, which will make it spin, and at the same time, overloading it's magic containing limit. The sword starts shooting dozens of hadokens and fireballs everywhere. I call it the "Flaming Hadoken Blossom." Drawbacks: It would probably kill them, too. |
that sound like an intresting plan however there are a few ... holes in it firstly BM would not use his hadoken in such a way ... he could use it on a bee instead second RM would not cast a spell because it would make him less versitile thirdly thief would not throw the sword and just hold on to it then pawn it and finaly fighter never lets go of his swords ever (whith the exception when EPS took it to kill the giant)
i no its nit picking but its what i do |
My immediate reaction to this was that there is no way all of them would be coordinated nor influenced enough to combo. But still, my combo idea would best be expained in a list, so here it is:
1. RM rolls dice at enemy to see if attack succeeds. 2. While the dice are being thrown, Thief sneaks around the back of the enemy while he's distracted by the dice and disarms him. Thief doesn't care if the attack "succeeds", because stealing ALWAYS wins. 3. RM casts Reflect on Fighter. 4. Fighter jumps. 5. BM prepairs a Meteor spell. 6. Fighter jumps onto the meteor and stabs sword into it. 7. Fighter begins falling with sword ready above his head towrds the enemy, who now realizes he's disarmed. 8. Rm casts Teleport on BM so he's behind the enemy with Thief. 9. Meteor lands on enemy, which does regular damage + 2x damage because all the damage Fighter took reflected to the enemy. 10. Thief and BM both finish with stabity death with backstab damage included. |

I think it's about as good as they're ever going to get. |
Although an ultimate attack would be cool thier skills aren't compatible. The closest you would get is a mob stabbing.
|
Oh, you guys are no fun. This wasn't really meant to be serious, just a "What if?" sort of thing.
|
OK.
BLACKBELT- Distracts the opponent with his Pummel skill. THIEF- Thief uses his Backstab skill on the opponent, disarming and stealing from it. RED MAGE- RM casts Ice 3 over Fighter's head. BLACK MAGE- BM casts Fire 3 on Fighter. WHITE MAGE- WM casts Cure 3 on Fighter to save him from possible magic backlash. FIGHTER- Uses his swords to absorb the spells, and then uses his Two-Fisted Monkey Style Attack (with Ice Sword and Fire Sword). Chrono Trigger, eat your heart out. |
Okay..
Rm throws his dice...They fall off a cliff. So, Bm uses fighterdoken, and Fighter continues with the two fisted monkey style. While still high in the air, Bm casts hadoken on fighter. At this point, thief can do several things. 1) use an item that reflects magic on fighters sword 2)using the armoire of invincibility, catch the hadoken, or 3)mug the enemy like crazy. #3 would definitely occur. after thief is finished stealing, and hadoken is about to strike, the dice hit the ground and get natural twenty. This would, somehow, launch the enemy in the air and stop the hadoken from hitting fighter by taking the blow itself. yeah, its wierd, but i was bored. |
Actually the only workable combo would be Red Mage rolls his dice while Fighter prepares to attack (most likly with sword chucks) and Thief will be waiting behind Black Mage who will cast a Hadoken thus killing Fighter, Red Mage and What ever enemy was standing in their way. Theif and Black Mage would morn the loss of their comrades and leave happy knowing team work was finially done for the first time.
I don't include White Mage or Black Belt as they are seperate from the Light Warriors and will most likly restore both Red Mage and Fighter back to health. It's a visious loop but the team will contiune on this way and so will the destruction. This is a team without any team work at all. Unless you consider everone running in the same direction Team Work or a Joint Defensive tactic. |
They always get through working thier powers together. Haven't you noticed?
Step 1: Fighter and/or BM Gets KO'ed Step 2: Red Mage gets plan Step 3: Plan sucks and/or fighter attacks if not KO'ed Step 4: Thief steals something and/or hides Step 5: Fighter gets up and/or attacks again Step 6: BM blasts it. It's a fairly repetive proccess. |
