I've been playing DDR ever since Hurricane Katrina when my cousin who owned Mario Mix had to move in with my family, and I've been hooked since.

But, I've already raped all the DDR games I own to death, and I am getting sick of playing the same 12 songs (because thats all the good ones they'll put in any one game) over and over and over.

Anyone know of any good ones that have come out lately?

I've not gotten the one on the wii yet, since I heard they force you to do hand movements while you step that eat babies.

I play Stepmania, which is really nothing like DDR in that, once you pass the easier difficulties, it become physically impossible to play with a dance pad. Fun game, though, and it's multi-platform to boot. Really easy to find songs for, too.

I cant seem to find good songs in DDR anymore. The entire series seems to be defined by upbeat girly techno. Upbeat techno is fine, but girly is where I draw the line. Is the song selection on the wii version any better? Does anyone know?

My roommate and I have been going crazy with DDR Supernova 2, trying to unlock the crap out of it. I haven't tried anything outside of the DDR series though.

I personally like DDRMAX and DDRMAX2 (For the PS2) the best. I'm not sure what all you mean by "girly" because I think there's an equal mix of non-girly mixes in there too. (afronova, sandstorm, max300, in the navy, paranoia(any of them), Blow My Whistle(that's not girly at all) AM-3P, Tsugaru, Boom Boom Dollar, Days Go By, Abyss, Dark Black Forest.... I could go on, but it would be far too big of a list)

I had a friend a long time ago that I watched while she played DDR. That was fun.

God damn it. I used to play DDR all the time. I would go to the arcade on campus after I got out of school to play. I'd play on the weekends. Nearly every girl I dated I not only met through that game, but spent most of our time there.

And now I want to play again. I'm in no shape for this, and I'll probably suffer some kind of injury. You'll be hearing from my lawyer.

Edit: Strike that, he's playing Stepmania.

I'll always think that the DDR MAX series had the best music. Hands down.

All I have is DDR Mario Mix. The only time I get to play any other type is if I go to the movies, or play Flash Flash Revolution when I'm on the comp.
