Also, you could easily rationalize it by that hotel being the closest to the hospital... thus it's only natural that they'd all try to get rooms there.

Technically the main part of the plan is mine, seeing as I said it first. You just added in how your guy would be involved, as well as a reason for us all being at that one hotel.
