"I think the smoke mentioned in the journal did something to them on that night." David said before returning the reports to where he had gotten them. Once they were put away, David turned to Clara. "Unless there is something else you want to check, I think were pretty much done here."

After some more arguing, Jim convinces Gabriel to go down first. Gabriel walks down with the torch before him for light, with Jim, Joseph, and Tor close behind. You enter the cellar to find it... empty. There is literally next to nothign down here. There are some spare boxes of who know what in a corner, and there is an empty wine rack, but the room is thankfully empty. After a quick search, all of you head back upstairs.
OOC: See, all that fuss for nothing... |
Clara thought for a moment, trying to think of anything else they might need to look up, then she shook her head, "No, I think we're done here." She said, standing up from her sitting position where she was reading the reports, "Are we going to meet back with the others to tell them what we've found?"

IC: "Well, looks like the only place left to explore is the outside of the house...." Jim then began feeling very uneasy, considering what had happened before, earlier. "Y-you go ahead, G-gabriel. It's probably nothing, like the cellar." |
OOC: Grammar, Zero. Grammar. And damb and damn are like grey and gray, m'kay?
BIC: Throwing the torch into the fireplace, Gabriel snapped a picture of the hidden staircase. Wiping the sweat from his forehead, he laughed. Quite loudly, really. "Well, now. That was scary! Whew! You know how in those pulp novel murder mysteries, there's always that one cellar that spells doom for at least two protaganists? Well, that certainly reminds me of ..." He trailed off. "Ahem. I'm Gabriel Valentine, etseemed Canadian Author, and it was very nice being quite nearly decapitated, or mangled, or whatever, with the rest of you. And, since, there is pretty much nothing here -that we can see, anyways- I suggest we all call it a night and try again tommorow morning when things are less ... erm, spooky?" |
"I-I agree. I'm going home." Stepping out hastily with his rifle, Jim walked swiftly to his car. "I think I'll go check on everyone else first before I go to sleep, to tell them that the house is completely n-" Jim turned to his car, seeing the scratches on it. "-ormal."
|
David quickly glanced at his wrist watch. "It's ten o' clock, and I don't remember anyone mentioning anything about meeting up. So want to go do get a drink, or want me to just drop you off at your hotel?"
|
I'm not done here, yet. Gabriel scratched his chin. I have yet to see any 'demon' and I refuse to believe that this place is 'empty' ...
"I'm going to be back, early tommorow for a second run at it. I doubt these photos will be all that great, considering the dim lighting. And I refuse to belive that this place is empty. I feel like I'm missing something ... Perhaps you'll join me, Mr. ...?" |
"Uh, uh..." Jim managed to tear his eyes away from his car for a second. "Jim. My name is Jim. And uh..." the doctor looked back to his wrecked car. <What happened to it?>
