I think a lot of nerd-girls had crushes on Egon, just like nerd-boys all wanted to be Egon. Cause it's like hey he does science - which he uses to kill the undead? Bitchin'! Plus he was that rare smart dude in a movie who doesn't have to get made to look like an asshole as punishment for being smart; he's the dude who takes care of business while everyone else ("everyone else" in this case being basically every single person in New York City who isn't Egon) runs around with their dicks in their hands. He was like Donatello from the Ninja Turtles if Don wasn't just there to do Leo's bitchwork, or that scene you always wanted to see in the James Bond movies where Q is like "Sit the fuck down and shut up James, this is one for the pros to handle."

I think I had a crush on Egon when I was a young 'un, too. It started out with the cartoon, but then my parents got used copies of the Ghostbusters films from the library and damned if I wouldn't watch those every weekend even though at that age, half the jokes went straight over my head.

Also, what Fifth said. Smart men are sexy.

I only scored 47% or so much less then expected. Though there were no questions about solving Rubik's cubes in higher than 3 dimensions.

Also,

Yes you do, I counted my obbsesive video game collection in it and that I know Pi not only to 10, but over 100.
I actually happen to have a txt file with a billion digits of pi in it. Took about 15 hours for my laptop to calculate it and its almost impossible to open (its slightly over a gig). I was thinking this week I might devout some time to making my laptop calculate 10 or 100 billion digits just to see if I can't fry some RAM.

"dumped at a Star Trek convention." I wonder how many people actually checked this.

I only got 26.23274%. I feel happy but yet sad on the inside.

OctoberRaven 03-12-2008 05:40 PM

12.82%

Most of that was probably through being a roleplayer.

Mondt 03-12-2008 06:12 PM

I wonder how much being a "veteran player" on EverQuest according to Sony would count towards this.

Professor Smarmiarty 03-13-2008 05:07 AM

33.7% though I felt the questions mostly tended to those younger and in high school (especially things like the authors one reads).

37.47535%... mayor geek, too bad they never asked the name of my son, Alexander Maximillian... :d
