Playing in a Supers RPG
 

Need idea for a cool SuperHero! I think we're doing it X-men style. I need a really nifty Superpower. I was thinking of having the ability to Twist things slowly into spirals. Painful for people =P

WTF? Who with the what hey now? What RPG is this?

As for superpower, randomly thrown out since I'm not sure what this RP is, how about Telekinesis? Throwing around objects with you mind and crushing foes with a thought is cool. Also you can perform the classic Vader Force Choke on your enemies or annoying allies.

One of the coolest superpowers I've ever thought of...

The ability to change your muscular structure on a whim depending on the situation!

That is, you have human limitations, and you are most comfortable with an average build. But, if your average strength is too weak for you to, say, move a 700 pound rock, your strength will rapidly grow as you work until you can manage it. I maxed around a metric ton (2000 lbs.), if I could put my whole body into what I was doing.
Also, the ability to deteriorate muscle, for whatever purpose, would be perfectly acceptable.

My set weaknesses -
Limitation to power! (Personally, mine was that I couldn't ever carry over 350 lbs. per arm)
Limitation to time in overly muscular state! (Mine: Can't be fully buff for over 8 minutes)
Limitation on deterioration of musclemass (You Will Die.)

Some cool super powers
1.The ability to turn anything into cheese
2. the ability to see 5 seconds into the future (only 5 no more or less)
3. The ability of breaking stuff with the sound of your voice
4. The ability to change into Psychedelic colors at will and confuse and throw off your enemies
5. The ability to never lose.

The power to have all the powers you want.

Um, allow me to dig up memory of ancient super-heroic creations....

Okay, for an X-Men style? the shadow-mold ability is always nice. One of my better superheroes was the Untouchable Shade, who had this entire dark-chi thing going. Basically, it was all in the eye of the beholder. One of the opening fight sequences had the bad guys basically surround him and shoot four hundred rounds, upon which he collaps basically into an empty cloak, with a small lump. People were sent in to see what the lump was. It turned out to be a high explosive device. Stuff like that.

Word. That's the best power there is.

Actually, that's lame as heck. What are you going to call yourself? Coward Boy? The pansy hero with an inferiority complex who is incapable of suffering altercation?

Take up a new profession.

He's going to call himself Bullrog, I think.

And how do any of your names apply to being able to do anything exactly?
