Problems
 

I've gone to two comic book stores and ordered atomic robo 1,2,3, and 4 i have 5 and 6 as a pre-ordered them
*EDIT: i need 1,2 and 3 i have 4 and 5*

Niether store's distributor can get ahold of those issues, even with the correct look-up codes or whatever they're called.

(and before you ask, they're not a chain of stores in two locations)
I'm just west of St. Louis in the St. Charles area if that matters, but i don't see why it would. I hate not supporting local comic book stores and buying on-line so im not going to do that.

Is there a problem with back-orders?

No, comic book stores are fine. It's Diamond, the distributor, that's screwing things up. Your best bet to get Robo comics is Heavy Ink.

So, after telling me way back when I first asked about it, that they would have Red 5's Book for Free Comicbook Day, my local comic shop has now informed me that they forgot to order it, and will not have it.

Do you know of any way I'll be able to get it online? I'm completely willing to pay monies for it.

On top of that, they forgot to order Atomic Robo 6 for me, after doing fine with the first 5 issues. But I ordered 6 from HeavyInk, and it's shipped, so I'm fine there. I think I'll be sticking with HeavyInk when Volume 2 comes out.

I'm afraid the only way to get FCBD material, other than eBay at some point after the fact, is to attend a shop that is 1) participating in FCBD and 2) ordering the material you'd like.

As it's not a throw away story, we will collect it in an upcoming trade, probably for Volume 2.

That stinks. Hopefully I'll be able to ebay it at a reasonable price at some point. Thanks though.
