how did Garland....?

I haven't seen anyone else ask this.
But considering how amazingly compitent Garland is how did he manage to get his hands on the awsome princess Sarah? (considering she could kick his ass blindfolded)
Brian says that if there are any plot gaps that a wizard did it.
so then if we accept this as the solution, that means one of the wizards must have helped garland out.
Well I would suggest that it wasn't BM, as doing any job that didnt involve killing the target and anything else near by doesnt sound like him(and wouldnt Sarah have recongnized him? or fighter know about it?)
I would also suggest that RM is not a likely candiate, mostly on the grounds that Sarah didnt recognize him either.
I dont think WM needs to even be considered.
I dont recall any other wizards except Sarda.
Which leads us to the idea that Sarda may have been helping garland in the beginning(out of pitty maybe?)
I am curious if there is a better/more complete explination that someone has

Or Sarah went with Garland because she was bored of being a princess in a castle

1. technically WM and RM aren't wizards...they are mages and there is a difference

2. You answered you own question...if a wizard did it...and there's only one wizard....well I hope you can connect the dots from here.

sorry I was a little unclear, yes I did answer my own question, but to me it doesn't seem to satifactory or complete of an answer.
while the is a differance between a mage and a wizard, if I remember correctly, the comic(I could be very mistaken here) uses the terms interchangibly, but since I think all the "mages" have been ruled out its kind of a moot point.
on another note, have any other wizards (or mages if you are willing to accept the terms interchangeablity) been encountered?

Not to be an asshole...well maybe a little...you should just read the comic yourself like everyone else

I have read the whole comic about 3 times. but I didnt bother to search through the entire comic looking for a small detail I missed, especialy since Brian's is so humors that i would probably get lost in them and for get to look for the little details :)

Only Matoya, as far as I remember.

But really, if there's really a plot hole then it's Sarda's fault (which in this case there isn't). It doesn't get any more complicated than that.

Most probably, Garland "tried" to kidnap Sarah and she just went along for the ride.

I DO think it was explained as such, Regulus, but I may be imagining that.

Wouldn't be the first time Sarda's tampering with reality has accidentally affected the lives of the characters.

Another possibility is that Garland decided to quit the Cornerian army and told Sara to come with him. She came, he told her he had kidnapped her, and she stayed because she found it hilarious.

I wouldn't say accidentally...
