Well, I just got done sorting my games (well, the newer ones, the older ones are still a mess), and the volume of my collection, I decided, deserved to be shared.

So... I'll show you mine, if you show me yours.

The top row is Movies; Hellsing Ultimate, Hellsing, Elfen Lied, FMA, Cowboy Bebop, Invader Zim, Advent Children, Venture Brothers, The Producers, Spider Man 3 (came with the PS3), Labyrinth, Ghost in the Shell (VHS), FLCL, and Record of Lodoss War is sitting in the front, 'cause I ran out of room.

Entire second shelf and first couple games on the bottom are PS2, then three wii games (four if you count sports, which is hiding), four ps3 games, and eight Xbox games. Then there's PS1 games, with Dreamcast games on the otherside of them.

And those are my old school games. NES, SNES, N64, Sega Genesis, and Game Cube. They're all mashed together, though.

Yeah, I've got a small collection of SNES games. But Earthbound and Lufia II are a part of it, so it's all worthwhile.

Smash Brawl is my only Wii game. So sue me.

I have lots more PSX games, but they're currently being borrowed. Bushido Blade, Mega Man X4, and Symphony of the night's all I got.

Flash on the camera excludes my PS2 library. Transformers, Street Fighter Anniversary, Kingdom Hearts II (Why haven't I traded that in for credit?), Guilty Gear XX (Accent Core and Ultimate Spider-Man are in our bedroom), Devil May Cry (Fuck yeah Seaking, but DMC3 is borrowed ATM), Shinobi, Soul Calibur, Knockout Kings, Ico, Katamari Damacy, Shadow of the Colossus. The blank one is Dead or Alive 3.

Bottom shelf is all of my DND books. They, collectively, cost me 150 bucks. I rule.

Grimlock, Megatron, 20th Anniversary Prime, and Bumblebee guard my collection.

I would post up mine, which I believe would put both of the above libraries to shame, but my room is currently being re-decorated and my stuffs all over the damn place. I'll try and collect everything together and do a 1 shot in about a day or so though.

Which is sans all of my PS1 N64 and earlier games. Perhaps eventually I'll be able to take a big picture of all of my games...

Actually... some of those aren't even mine. All of the Wii stuff belongs to my roommate. Most of the other stuff is mine though.....


Yeah I don't buy games often.

Oh yeah, and that other box is filled with DVDs. Mostly FMA....

My problem is I trade in lots of my old games.

Though I wouldn't count it as a 'problem' more as 'house cleaning' considering I doubt Assassin's Creed is going to net me any replay any time soon.

I was going to take pictures of all my vidja games and DeeVeeDees, but apparently my webcam has decided that it wants to be extra crappy today, So I'm going to put a hold on it until I can find a decent camera to use.

That, and my room is currently filled with boxes of paper, stuffed envelopes, and unstuffed envelopes, and other messes besides. I should probaly clean up in here first, to make sure nothing fell behind the futon or under a stack of boxes or something.

And Mirai, I'm the same way now. I used to be a total game/DVD packrat, but in the past couple of years (mostly my extended periods of unemployment) I've liquidated rather large portions of my CD/Video Game/DVD collections. Things I didn't listen to anymore, didn't play anymore, and some of the DVDs I had to sell out of necessity (I miss you, Eerie, Indiana).

Aaaand behind those movies lie my anime and Pirates of the Caribbean section. Huh. My Invader Zim movies are missing. My sister must have them...

Well it's less of a liquidation and more of a "There is totally no need to keep some of these games that I will never play." Not even unnecessarily rare games, like old PSX RPGs just old stuff I didn't want.

I also had Gitaroo Man, but man that game can only be a rare game for so long before it becomes a game I don't want to play anymore. Listening to the OST is fine for me.

Hopefully this topic will still be alive in May, when my girlfriend and I are done moving so I can use her camera to take a picture of my whole collection and list off all the items.

DVDs: I've got somewhere around 50.
PSX games: Somewhere between 5 and 15.
XBOX: 4 games, if I remember correctly.
GAMECUBE: 6 or 7.
PS2: Somewhere around 70 games.
360: Under 20, and that number will shrink as I plan on getting rid of a bunch of the crappier ones soon... Trading them in toward my PS3, as it were.

EDIT: Oh yeah, plus my girlfriend's games. None of which will probably be represented, as she is one of those horrible people who insists on keeping their games in a hideous CD wallet. Why, why, WHY?!? The games look so handsome when neatly arranged, and I can't think of a good reason to seperate them from their cases and instruction manuals, unless it is to play them. Hell, I can't even think of a good reason to be lugging 300 fucking CDs around, and that's what those things are made for!
