Noticing what Rosetta is going to do, Charles got seriously worried.
"Stealthmon!" He shouted running towards the fight. "Get out of there!" Hearing Charles's shouts, Stealthmon turned quickly, and before the tree was even half way down, He grabbed Dorumon, who was blasting the giant's head with metal balls, and took a sprint towards Tragyk. "Here You go." He whispered to Tragyk. He left Dorumon near his partner and got to Charles just in time to take a look at the tree smash Golemon. |
Chisokumon was reeling on the ground, the impact had not felt pleasant.
"Eep! He's like a solid wall!" It was then that Golemon turned to look down at his opponents, and saw the downed Chisokumon at it's feet. Chisokumon stared death in the face, only to feel himself being jerked away and some whiplash. When the dust cleared, Jeremy put his digimon back on the ground and stood tall, his goggles.... ....Were still missing. He bent over with a sigh, and yet held his ground. " All right you, evil...eviler digimon thing. You can beat up my familiar. You can beat up the other's familiar. You can beat them up when they attack you by not actually doing anything. But nobody-Holy carp!" A giant tree was attacked and it looked like it was about to crush Golemon. And by extension, Jeremy and Chisokumon! "Quick! Run, yet make it look like you're going to team up for a unisoned attack!" He nobly commanded his partner. "How can I do that? My attacks physical one! They'd probably end up hitting me." Chisokumon whined. He was beginning to become quite a bit of a whiner. "I guess we could get safely out of the way and throw rocks..." "Throw rocks at a rock monster?" "Like fighting fire with fire! ...Not that I'd know how to do such a thing." |
It was big, it was ugly, it smelled bad, and it was beating the crap out of everyone present. It had just appeared out of nowhere, and suddenly everything went straight to hell; attacks flew left and right, blasts and cuts and tackles, all to no avail. Jenna staggered a few steps back, too startled to say anything, think of anything--until Akuamon started to charge in.
"No!" She grasped at the gauntlet at his wrist. Jerked to a halt, he turned to give her an exasperated plea. "Let me go! We have to fight this thing!" "No! You're--look at the others! Look at that thing! I don't want you to get hurt, it's..." She trailed off and tried to grip his arm tighter as he pulled away. "We don't have time for this! It's our job to protect you!" "No! You can't, you'll get hurt, just like... please, please don't go--" she bit her lip. A second ago they'd had the exact opposite argument, suddenly, now, he's eager to fight, and she'd been encouraging fighting, God she was stupid. "Jenna, it's our job to protect you! Please!" She stared at him a moment longer, vacant in panic, before he gave a pained sigh and pulled free of her grasp; she realized suddenly he was likely strong enough to have broken out of it at any point. He charged away from her at his hobbling gallop, and she stared after, wondering what exactly she was supposed to do. -- He didn't like to leave her like that, but honestly, what was wrong with humans? Were they all so whiny, or did he just have a defective one? They were partners, and he wanted to protect her, but it would be hard if she wouldn't let him. "Aqua Force!" he yelled, throwing up his palms to let out a blast of water, though it was no good; why would it make any more a difference then the other random blasts from the others? "We need to focus the attacks!" He yelled to the others. "Otherwise, it won't be enough!" |
The combination of the water blast muddying up the ground that began to violently shiver beneath Golemon managed to offset the behemoth long enough to miss seeing the activity behind him. As the tree began its descent, Golemon stumbled forward, leading to a loud distinct crack as the massive object slammed into him. For a few tense seconds the group believed it to be over, but when the tree began to shudder their nerves came back in full force.
With an outward blast, Golemon emerged again, his back spikes glowing red after their attack. To those facing its back, a prominent scar had appeared where the tree had struck the spot that Chisokumon dented. A pulsing red light eked out of the gash. |
"All right! Harimon, it's time for the finishing blow! Do it like I taught you!"
"I'm still not sure what this bee thing is, but I'll try to sting like it..." Putting on a burst of speed, Harimon leaped towards the crack on Golemon's back. He made two punches in rapid succession, and then, with a bright glow of rainbow colors, delivered a final powerful hit. In the background, Roan was cheering him on, leeping up and down, sweating as if he was the one fighting. |
"Maybe we should have run faster." Viola said standing off to the side lines of the battle, her partner fluttering beside her.
The two had fallen behind from the rest of the group to look around at the scenery, such as it was. They had come across a dead tree, and on a whim, Viola had asked Starlemon to try out her fire 'magic'. After a few moments of the bird focusing, she had been able to do just that. If rather ineffectively at first, the bird's accuracy with her "Flame Wave" had been poor at best. The grass around the two was burned away by the time the fire did strike. But before either of them could celebrate Viola had felt a distant rumbling in the ground. "But it looks like they have it in hand." She said with a shrug. |
Houndmon, now seeing the gash in the monster's back and Harimon move in for an attack, bounded up a tree to help out. As he stood atop the tree he focused on the large red gash and fired.
"Dark Beam!" Jun stood by with the other humans slightly away from the immediate danger, chewing on her lip ring and secretly wishing that she had never quit smoking because boy did she want a cigarette. |
With the punches exposing more of Golemon's core, Houndmon's attack penetrated the defenses and began to seep into the weakened area. For a moment the red light took on a blackened hue before flaring up. Golemon grabbed for his faceplate, emanating a deep grumble before the the glow from his core overtook his being. After a blinding flash, the area that had formerly been taken up by the rock monster was a charred blotch.
Before they could celebrate amongst themselves, a clap began to sound from above. Cold and monotonous, it was akin to the beginnings of an end-of-movie slow clap, but much less hopeful. "I must say, this is very impressive." The figure that descended seemed to be pleasantly amused with the entire situation. Her figure gave the impression of being remarkably lithe even though she seemed to exceed seven feet in height. Her flowing silver hair was unbound by gravity, contributing a very ethereal quality to the entire persona. Two small, vestigial wings remained still on her back, while her two clawed hands were crossed in front. After touching down, whatever force that had kept her hair afloat ceased. Framed by the bright strands, the deep red splotch on her neck looked even more macabre. "Usually when the Golemon send up a signal it's for rather mundane situations, but this one seems to have stumbled upon a real find." As entranced by the new figure as the group was, they couldn't help but notice that a new presence was entering the area. Six new presences, except for the fact that they had already faced down one of their kind before. "Now, you can submit defeat willingly, and save me some time." The new digimon smiled, an act made very unsettling by how far reaching the smile was. "Or you can let me have some fun." (OOC: 6 Golemon, still Low Champions. 1 Bansheemon, High Champion. When you digivolve, citing the precedence of Piedmon v. WarGreymon + MetalGarurumon, the inexperience in the new form will render your Digimon Low Champions. Feel free to take out the Golemon without waiting for approval, but attacking Bansheemon is like fighting a PC.) |
"How come?" Stealthmon whispered with disbelieve. "I should have felt being watched. She must be blind or something, anyway She was not using her eyes."
"What are You talking about!?" "Nevermind! We need to defend!" Stealthmon said surprisingly loud. "We had problems with a single 'golem'! How do Ya expect to fight six of them!?" "You must help me." Stealthmon whispered. "How..." "Focus! Make a wish or something!" "Okay." Charles took a heavy breath. "Stealthmon! I want You to..." "What is it?" Charles started to giggle. "I forgot this stupid term. 'Digi-whatever'." "That's 'digivolution'." Stealthmon slapped his head. "Stealthmon! Digivolve and make them regret crossing our way!" "Stealthmon digivolves to..." Stealthmons body started to vanish in dark smoke His shape started a weird sort of dance inside the smokepuff. It took of its scarf and started to spin rapidly. With each round the cloth was getting bigger and bigger. Soon the shape puled it on like a coat. As the smoke disappeared, a tall human in a brown coat and a fox mask appeared. "Assassimon!" His whispering voice sounded even more mysterious than before. "Piercing Stab!" A blade emerged from one of the sleeves, shining with black mist and purple sparks. A short dash and a leap towards one of the Golemons later, the first enemy was exposed for a fatal blow from one of the other digimon. |
(OOT: sorry I haven't posted till now. also, forgive my rough posting. I haven't RPed in a while. :D )
Durran, having followed along with everyone else, had not said a word to any of them, except his digimon. He had become friends with the digimon which was called gravitymon. While they were walking along with the others, gravitymon digivolved to grawolfemon which looked much like a wolf. Then a golem appeared and he just looked on at the battle with awe and fear. when houndmon beat it, more appeared along with a banshee-like creature. "come on grawolfemon! We need to help. they won't stand a chance without us." "grawolfemon! digivolve to champion!" grawolfemon's body turned into a dark light and his body morphed into that of a human-like wolf. "I am fluxiomon. I will help with my power of gravity." He turned to the other people in front of him."move aside. I'm gonna hopefully destroy one of those golems.make sure you're at least 6 feet away from the blast!" He lifted his golden crossbow and yelled "gravity bullet!" as a huge sphere of gravitic energy surged toward the golem stealthmon had injured. As it went, Everything within 5 feet of the sphere got sucked into it. "this'll pack a punch!" said fluxiomon happily. the blast cascaded upon the golem as tree stumps, boulders, rocks, and other objects crashed into it. The golem got blasted back and it blew up. "haha. One down!" said Durran. |
