Not one keen on the company of others, young Ciar Xavier had been skulking in the shadows behind the group and thus was the farthest away from the disturbance up ahead. He had been examining the gift they’d received, which was securely stashed in the band of the wristwatch he wore. Still holding the lavender digimon, who after parting ways with Solmon had been uncharacteristically (At least, from what Ciar knew of the cute blob) silent, Ciar squinted through the eyewear he wore towards the distance. He pointed with his glowing left arm, as the other was occupied and asked Miaowamon, "What's that?"

He perked up at once, cat ears twitching as he gathered sound waves from the air. "Nothing good! It sounds like the others are under attack by a digimon! It sounds massive, too! Come on, let's go!" There was safety in numbers, Ciar thought, as he quickly carried the still-jabbering digimon towards the others. He arrived in time to see the digimon be defeated and both partners were on the verge of voicing their annoyance that they'd rush to the scene only to be able to watch the fragments as opposed of actually doing something.

They both felt jittery, as if it wasn't over and were not wrong, as proven by the newcomers. Ciar could only gape in some mesmerized state of being as six more of the collosal creatures advanced. He had heard pieces of the previous battle, enough to know it hadn't been easy to take down. However, it wasn't the stone beast that were the target of the bespectacled gaze. It was the winged arrival, a figure that seemed to emenate a dark glow, both breathtaking and frightening. Miaowamon wasn't unaffected by it, either.

"That is one..." Here, everyone's favorite lavender blob failed to think of an appropiate adjective, merely finishing it somewhat lamely, "...Digimon." He turned back to his human partner. "Remember when I told you I'd need to conserve my energy? Now would be a good time!"

"Right," nodded the black-haired human. Miaowamon leapt down to the ground before starting to emit a fierce purple glow, rendering it unseen to any who might be watching. Inside, the in-training digimon declared, "Miaowamon digivolves to...!" as purple waves moved through the orb of light. A second or two later, another larger creature emerged, announcing its prescense in a deeper voice: "Felinusomon!" There was a couple of seconds where Felinusmon was visible through the fading light, revealing a dark orchid feline creature standing there. However, another larger sphere of light, this time a darker purple, emerged around the newly digivolved digimon.

"Felinusomon digivolves to...!" The orb rippled and morphed as the creature within did the same for several seconds, before something even larger breached its confines. This new monster shouted it's name for all to hear, a roar of challenge to the late arrivals. "Nekomatomon!"

"I'll hold off the rock-heads while you all take on the witch." Nekomatomon told the others. "Ciar, stay out of the way. This could get ugly." He turned, pleasently surprised that there was only five Golemon left. The purple colored two-tailed feral-looking feline digimon leaped into action, literally. Bounding over 15 feet into the air before landing near the golem wannabes, he prepared his attack. Unleashing a sound shockwave that rattled nearby objects, he cried, "Great Growl!" All of the Golemon, while being hard as rocks, remained entirely whole but knocked back several feet. He prepared to repeat the process for as long as needed.

"Great Growl!"

"I can help focus your power on only 4 golems!" yelled fluxiomon, as he ran up beside the cat-like digimon. "wait, fluxiomon!" yelled durran ahe ran to be beside his digimon. "you can't take on this many golems."

"I don't have to. I'm only incapcitating one so he can can focus his power more on the other 4." With that said he touched the device over his eye. It sparkled and glowed in a green light. Smiling, Fluxiomon took his hand away. "I can use the device over my eye now", turning toward a golem he said" you've had it! Searing sight!" A silvery beam lanced out of the device and crashed into the golem. The golem was forced against a rock and held there.after a min. the golem started turning greyish from the effects of the beam." after a while, the beam will start to burn. It must really hurt." said fluxiomon. In saying this, he put up a hand to the device and turned up the power to maximim.

Akuamon allowed himself an excited smirk as the massive beast was destroyed, but had no time to congratulate himself or the others before the ominous rumble began once more, and the sneering woman descended upon them. A shudder ran down his spine as he looked at the tall Digimon; to say she gave off a bad vibe would be a bit of an understatement.

A hand suddenly touched his shoulder, and Akuamon looked up to see Jenna, her face pale. He bit his lip, and looked to the newly-arriving Golemon; he didn't want to have to argue with her now, this just wasn't the time. "Jenna, please. We don't have the time for this. Let me fight."

---

She'd seen it all; Akuamon and the others banding together to take down that massive creature, while she stood back and gaped. He had been strong enough to fight the beast without her. But six more, and that eerie woman, there was no way he could stand up to them.

Not by himself, at least.

She looked from the enemies down to him, and murmured, "Promise you'll be safe."

He blinked, and she could have sworn he smiled for an instant as he began to glow. "I promise."

The light enveloped him, and Jenna felt something warm inside her. "Akuamon, digivolve to... Suimamon!" The glow faded, revealing a blue-skinned, green-haired man glared at the oncoming opponents.

Jenna balled a fist, trying to ignore the tight feeling in her gut. She had to trust in him for this.

---

Suimamon took in the scene; the Golemon were strong, yes, but the others were handily holding them back. And the true enemy here was clearly the woman Digimon. That was where the attacks were best concentrated.

Long fingers grabbed the guns from their holsters, and he held them out in front of him. In a sudden series of clicks and twists of metal, the two weapons fused, forming a canon. "River Blaster!" he called, baring his fangs. A thick blast of water surged from the canon, towards the woman.

"Now, you can submit defeat willingly, and save me some time. Or you can let me have some fun."

Lee Looked towards the speaker with a look of pure loathing on his face. He presumed that this was the Bansheemon that they had been warned of, and the fact that she had found them so quickly only served to anger him, in addition to the fact that they had also been surrounded on all sides at the same time.

"Remember when you said how hard it was to digivolve?", Lee asked Buffalomon, his voice calm but laced with his anger, "well now would be a good time to try and find out just how hard."

"Ask and ye shall recieve partner!" Closing his eyes and concentrating hard, Buffalomon focused his energies on trying to digivolve once again. A white light materialised around him and Lee had to take a few steps back as it quickly expanded over a large area. From inside the dome of light Buffalomon called out;

"Buffalomon, digivolve to... TAURUSMON!" As the light finally faded the digimons newest form was revealed to be a gigantic black bull, at least ten metres high.

"Ok, time to fight fire with fire!" Taurusmon declared in a much deeper and gruffer voice than the one he had used before as he lowered his horned head and charged up his first attack. In front of him the ground suddenly began to rumble and break apart as huge pieces of rock burst through from deep underground and levitated into the air before him, where they quickly merged into a solitary mass. "Gaia Strike!", Taurusmon shouted and the massive construct immediately shot towards the nearest Golemon, impacting it with a massive explosion of sound and shattering on impact, sending debri in all directions. As the dust cleared the Golemon behind it was revealed to still be standing, but very much shattered. It wouldn't take much to kill it now.

Lumenskir 03-29-2008 03:56 PM

As the enemies around her digivolved and struck back against her Golemon cohorts, Bansheemon's smile receded, replaced by a spiteful sneer. This is not how things should have progressed.

She became aware that one of the enemies had taken notice of her. As she watched the cannon emerge, she unfolded her hands, the splotch on her throat glowing. After the attack had been called out she took a quick breath before unleashing her own; A shrill, devastating sonic blast that met the torrent in midair before ruthlessly dispersing it and continuing on to the source, sending Suimamon flying backward with its ears ringing.

Satisfied with the resolution of the first threat, Bansheemon surveyed the rest. Without flourish her hair drifted into the air as she gracefully flew behind Nekomatomon. Lifting the great feline into the air, Bansheemon emitted a faint laugh while toying with the creature. "Such a mighty big purr you've got." She hurled her opponent away, sending it crashing into Fluxiomon. The unhindered Golemon stomped past their master, mindless destruction forefront in their directives.

Truce 03-29-2008 04:09 PM

The battle was over. Seeing Golemon disappear in a flash, Rosetta had been sure that they had won. And yet, whatever celebration she had was ended shortly by the arrival of a new enemy.

What had been the signal? Was it that Sulpher Plume Golemon had launched before - or was it the flash of light as it disappeared? Regardless of the mechanism, six more Golemon had appeared. That was, of course, only after their mistress had appeared.

A digimon in the form of a woman. She had entered with applause for them, though they held none for her. It was clear the choice she made for them - Surrender or Fight.

And the others had chosen to fight, just like she would have. They digivolved to challenge the opponents, but would that be enough? Lunamon was injured, and she had strained herself just bringing that tree down. How could Rosetta ask her to fight again?

Still, watching Bansheemon toss around Suimamon and Nekomatomon, she couldn't simply stand by and do nothing either.

Running past the Golemon, who ignored her for the actual threats, she stopped in front of Bansheemon and made a fist. "Leave them alone!" she yelled, as if that would convince Bansheemon at all.

Lunaknight 03-29-2008 04:09 PM

"no! fluxiomon!" yelled durran as he ran to see if he was okay. "stay back, durran, cause I'm about to unleash hell." growled fluxiomon. He leapt to his feet and he readied his crossbow. "gravity bullet." he said without much gusto. A blast hit two of the golems and they hit a tree. as they went flying he unleashed 7 arrows after them,, which cracked bits of them. He then leapt at them and stated slashing while shouting " searing sight." which was preventing the golems from attacking. "oh no....." said fluxiomon." i must.." He staggered back wards. as he did so, he got smaller and smaller, until he was a cute blob again."sorry durran." said gravitymon. "its alright. you really hurt those golems. Looking over at the golems, he could see pieces ripped from them, showing their core, and an arrow or two in their arms."the rest can take care of them" Durran retreated to the trees after saying this.

"Looks like the only thing this team is cooperating at is making a lot of chaos..." Thought Assassimon as He released a
'Garrotte Shower' finishing a Golemon someone weaken earlier.
"Charles!" He fell back while Fluximon started de-digivolving and shouted. "It's not gonna work if those guys won't cooperate!"
"I'll see what I can do!" Charles replied. "Stay close to Taurusmon!"
"On my way!" He dashed to Taurusmon.

Charles was also in a hurry, running towards Lee.
"You there!" Charles stopped near him. "Tell Your partner to fight the golems that Assassimon will set open!"
The same moment Assassimon used a 'Shadow Wave' making one of the Golemons cover his only organic part, the eye, with both of its hands.

[OCC: EDITED cause everybody else acted like jerks.]

Houndmon had been satisfied with injuring the Golemon, and had retreated back to where Jun was standing. Jun congratulated Houndmon, but her smile soon faded as a new enemy and 6 other Golemon's appeared. The other Digimon digivolved again, getting much larger and seemingly more powerful and attacked the Golemon, destroying one and wounding the others. "Houndmon! We need to help, can you digivolve again?"

"I'll try, but I need your help."

Jun nodded and concentrated on...something. She thought about sending Houndmon her energy, and she soon felt a warmth come over her. Houndmon was enveloped by a sphere of light. "Houndmon digivolve to...Dobermon!" Out of the light came a large Doberman with a spiked collar and what looked like eyes in his legs. Wow...that is too cool. "Go Dobermon, help the others! There are some injured Golemon over there, you can finish them off."

"You got it Jun!" Dobermon bounded over to where Fluxiomon had shot two of the Golemon. He growled lightly before calling out his attack. "Grau Realm!" He let out a roar and a dark energy blast left his mouth, hitting one of the Golemon in the head and blowing it to rubble.

((OOC: Not trying to god mod and blow one up myself, but it was hit by Fluxiomon's arrows and was injured. Since no one else was finishing it off, I did so myself.))

Teal Mage 03-29-2008 06:10 PM

"We should probably help." Viola said, looking at Starlemon, who was still flying beside her.

"Well..."

"What is it?"

"I've been trying for the last little while, but I can't digivolve."

"But you did it without any trouble before, what's the problem?"

"I...I don't know, it just won't work."

"Alright then...just say back; don't hurt yourself for no reason." Viola said, as she gently drew the little bird in her arms. The two stood back and watched from the sidelines, such as they were.

((OoC: That should help explain why Viola won't be helping while I'm gone. Just felt I needed to throw in some kind of reason.))

PCD 03-29-2008 06:56 PM

Jenna yelled as Bansheemon blasted away Suimamon's attack and sent him flying backwards; no, no, no! He couldn't get hurt, not like that, not so fast!

With a loud thump and small grunt, Suimamon's back smacked against a tree, and he barely managed to keep his feet as he fell to the ground. The brunette ran over, horror pitted in her stomach. "Akuamon! Are you okay? She didn't hurt you? You--you don't have to fight, if you're hurt, it's all right--"

"I'm fine," he grunted. He grimaced as he stood, but the determination in his face was clear. Jenna bit her lip as she watched. "It's nothing."

"You're sure...?" She murmured. He gave a grunt of assurance, before darting back into the fray. She looked after him, and saw the other kids cheering their partners on--Rosetta even ran amongst the towering beasts instead of her wounded partner. Jenna set her jaw. "You can do it!" she called after Suimamon.

---

His ears rang, and the roar of battle around him wasn't helping. Suimamon tried to ignore the pang in his back; the shell strapped behind him had absorbed most of the blow, but it still stung. But something like that wasn't going to put him out so easily.

Bansheemon was, obviously, too powerful to focus on himself; they'd need their combined power to get close, and the others were busy focusing on the Golemon. So then, the best method was to speed up that process.

His cannon clicked back into two separate water guns, and he let loose a series of water blasts at one of the Golemon, the rapid succession of the attacks and the pressure blasting chunks from the behemoth's body.

The Artist Formerly Known as Hawk 03-29-2008 09:11 PM

Seeing that the Golemon still remained (albeit badly injured) and no one else had offered to pitch in and help take it down, Lee realised that it was up to Taurusmon to do so. But just as he was about to speak, Charles ran up to him and asked for help.

"Little busy right now", he told him shortly, and then turned his attention back to the situation at hand, "Taurusmon, finish it!"

"You got it! Wild Stomp!!" The massive beast raised himself up and slammed his forelegs onto the ground in an already familiar move and the earth began to rupture with multiple blasts, travelling outwards in a trianglular formation, the path of destruction leading straight to the injured digimon. Trees caught in the blasts were blown apart and the grown itself was no better off, looking as it did like an entire minefield had just detonated. When the shockwave reached the Golemon he was consumed by the numerous explosions and was quickly blasted into dust.

Another foe down, Lee turned back to Charles. "Now what were you saying?"

Wizardcat 03-29-2008 11:03 PM

"Great Gr- Gyyuuuuaak!"

Nekomatomon was suddenly lifted into the air as easily as one hefts a kitten. Impossible, he thought as he struggled with all six limbs, both tails included. He hadn't even heard someone approach! There was a laugh from his captor and his exertions increased, only to have no tangible effect. He recognized the voice as the human-shaped digimon's and could only listen as she continued. "Such a mighty big purr you've got." A moment later, the feline felt the air rush past his fur and dimly acknowledged he'd been flung away just as easily.

Impact with Fluxiomon had brought him into contact with some of the armor the wolf man digimon wore, causing no small amount of pain, further increased as Nekomatomon bounced across the ground several times. Pride and body hurting, he made an undulating motion with his body and propelled himself into the air, landing back on both hind paws. He stumbled slightly from the pain in the right hind leg, before perfecting balance again. He was back in the fray and not happy. To be precise, he was back in the fray and considerably angry.

His first objective was to find a certain digimon and inflict severe physical damage to them. However, he'd have to find her and the sole remaining partially damaged Golemon lumbered nearby. "Out of the way!" Nekomatomon raced towards it, before jumping up and performing an uppercut with his claws, cutting through the already damaged layer of rock before performing a roundhouse kick to the exposed under section and sinking the claws on the hind paw into it. It sagged as part of the core was ripped out upon the removal of the limb and a moment later the purple feline landed atop of it.

From that vantage point, it was easy to find the perpetrator. Aiming directly at her, Nekomatomon leaped into the air once more in a dramatic fashion all four legs held across his body before unleashing them in an x-shape with the declaration of the attack's name: "Shadow Slice!" Four shadow waves split the air as they traversed the distance towards Bansheemon, even leaving afterimages as they soared so quickly due to their creator's desire to inflict harm to their target.

"Let me go!"
"Stay away from fighting!" He whispered loudly. "I'm not going to hold that for long. I used more energy than I ever even gathered."
"What do You mean?"
The same moment Charles finished the question, Assassimon turned back to Stealthmon, and they both were now laying on the ground in an almost safe distance from the battlefield.

Chisokumon turned to Jeremy. "Hey! I should digivolve too! Then I could help them!"

"Yes...Digivolve! If your first digivolution was any indication, then the next should...YES! Go for it, for justice, a justice not wrought by the goggles on my head, nay, but the goggles in my soul!" Jeremy dramatically gave a speech.

Chisokumon felt the warm wave of positive energy from his tamer, and felt stronger, bigger, and most importantly...faster!

Chisokumon digivolves to....Joltmon!

Joltmon became blue, a strange cheetah/liger mix, and felt the confidence of his tamer coming through to him.

"Ha! Let's see how quick that Bansheemon is now! I'm probably twice as no...three times as quick as she'll ever be! But first, I"ll take care of those Golemon!" He boasted.

"Nuuu! That's not my plan! You're big enough to pick up all the other humans like me, and we could make a run for it! There's no way they could catch us! And for the digimon who couldn't keep up...I'm sure they'd be fine." Jeremy reasoned.

"...I'm just gonna attack the Golemon."

"Well, there go my plans to build an outpost in safety, then breed up a civilization of humans and defeat the evil of this land in 10 generations!"

Joltmon ran into the fray, and bent his body in an arc so as to powerup his pounce.

"Clawstatic!" His legs sparkling and chirping like a thousand birds, he pounced onto a golemon.

Truce 03-30-2008 03:45 PM

Rosetta was an idiot. Where before she had at least a semblance of a plan, she had just charged right in front of Bansheemon. If the golemon hadn't ignored her, she wouldn't have even made it that far.

She was stupid. Stupid, stupid, stupid!

But...if Lunamon didn't do something, Rosetta would also be dead.

A Golemon stood in her way. Even if it was damaged, it was still more powerful than her - never mind that she had also was not in the best shape either. As dumb as it was, it was still powerful enough to delete her if she went head on against it.

Still...she too could be stubborn when she wanted to be.

The golemon didn't wait for Lunamon to make a move. It rushed forward, its now lighter body moving faster than it had before. Lunamon knew that she could escape to safety simply by running to one of the other digimon - but she saw Rosetta, foolishly trying to indimidate Bansheemon. No matter what, she had to get to her.

"Sulpher Plume!"

The Golemon announced its attack, simultaneously launching a ball of volcanic mass at its prey. Lunamon bowed her head, knowing that there was no way to avoid it. The only option was...

"Tear Shoot!"

Power, gathered in her antenna, was released all at once. Everything that she could muster took the form of a ball of water, flying head on into Golemon's attack. The water dispersed upon contact, the difference in power simply too great. Yet, the Sulpher Plume was knocked off course, flying harmlessly past Lunamon.

Lunamon wasted no time in preparing another attack. Golemon, seeing this, covered its arms to protect its core, not giving her an opening to exploit his weakness. From its eyes, though, it hadn't had to do even that much, against an opponent like this.

"Demi Dart!"

If Golemon could express expectations, Lunamon would have certainly betrayed them. The dart flew off in a random direction, not even close to where he was.

Had she missed? Was she aiming for something else? These were questions it did not bother to ask, as it raised its arm. Already within reach, it made a fist ready to smash her. And yet, Lunamon did not move, merely close her eyes and yelled.

"Rosetta, I'm coming!"

Suddenly, Golemon froze, but not because of Lunamon's shout. Its fist, mere inches from Lunamon's face, remained unmoving as its eyes looked down not at Lunamon but to its chest. There, where its core had been exposed, a single dart had driven itself deeply.

Its eyes followed the path it must have shot at him from, finding nothing but one of the masks that a fallen Golemon had worn. In a rare moment of clarity, it realized what she must have done. Still, it was over; even with that much, the rookie wouldn't win the battle, even if it couldn't either.

In a flash of light it exploded, catching Lunamon in its blast. Rosetta, having heard Lunamon's earlier cry, had turned just in time to see her partner's body flung into the air. Engulfed in light, fear gripped her heart as she thought that Lunamon would disappear just like Golemon...

Instead, Lunamon simply grew smaller - back into the form of Moonmon.

"Moonmon..."

When the first Golemon was destroyed Cael and Commandramon rejoiced, but only for a second because a few seconds after they were attacked … again. They were outnumbered and outmatched with 6 Golemon to worry about and what he thought to be Bansheemon. “Commandramon follow me we are going to hide in the trees”

The look on Commandramon’s face was sheer confusion. He wondered why Cael wanted to hide instead of fight. “No, I need to stay here and fight, I can’t run away and hide that is what cowards do, are you a coward”

Cael looked at him from behind one of the trees “Just shut up and come here, I have a purpose for this you know. Keep that High and Mighty attitude to yourself.”

With that Commandramon ran toward Cael, safe hiding behind a tree. “So what’s your plan, other than hiding”

“Commandramon listen carefully look out there, see the others are handling the problem quite well. Their Digimon are digivolving to stronger forms and taking on the enemy, but I highly doubt that can last for over. That’s when we come in when they get tired out we fight. You get all that.”

Commandramon nodded and stayed quite while watching the fight. The others were fighting very well taking out the Golemon here and there until there were only one or two Golemon left. He was thinking that he wouldn’t even have to enter the fight because it was going so well, but then it started to go all downhill with some of the other Digimon dedigivolving. When Lunamon blasted by the Golemon Cael knew it was at that moment he had to take action. “Ok Commandramon, let go and help them out. Commandramon digivolve.”

Commandramon entered the fray and nodded. “Commandramon digivolve to Sealsdramon” A light enveloped Commandramon and it got larger. When the light stopped shining Commandramon was no more, in his stead stood a Humanoid/Cyborg Dinosaur, in his right arm he held a knife. “Wow Sealsdramon you look awesome, now go kick some Digital ass”

With that Sealsdramon disappeared from sight in a blur. He’s fast, really fast Cael thought to himself. From out of nowhere came a voice “Scouter Monoeye” it said. It was Sealsdramon and he was using his Scouter Monoeye to get information on Bansheemon and find it’s weak point

OOC: Lumenskir can you give the info on Bansheemon so I can use it next post.

Jamario:

A loud crash and a cloud of smoke announced the arrival of the first Golem, Jamario looked toward the ruckus being brung by the massive stone creature. He started running the other way."Holy crap! let's go colugomon" The monster rodent on his back decided then was a good time to dig it's fangs into it's partner's back.

"OWWWW! what the hell?" colugomon turned it's head to stare it's partner in the face. "you get back there now. We are not cowards, we are not weaklings. we can take a pile of boulders on no sweat!.... SAY IT!" The young b-boy was sure of one thing and one thing only, that he was a coward, that he was a weakling, but he stopped, for some god-awful reason, turned around to face the danger and said

"Yeah, no problem huh? let's go OFF on that thing!" Jamario saw his partner smile for the first time "Okay, now throw me" "whuh?" "Just do it!"

Jamar' nodded then Held the squirrel digimon in his hand, unleashing the coolest fastball special unleashed in this thread(suck it!) colugomon flew swiftly through the air, opening it's arms and legs at the last minute and catching air underneath it's body, swopping up into the air, it cast a shuge shadow over the golemon it whirled around in the air, then drew it's limbs into to reduce drag, plummeting down towards the rocky beast Colugomon spoke in it's Huge Michale Clarke Duncan-esque voice "Diving... CLAW!"

At that exact moment, the Golemon, not noticing the eminent doom raining down upon it, faced Lunamon and answered Colugomon's call with it's own. "ROCK PUNCH!" Just as colugomon neared it's target and drew back it's claws, Golemon's elbow connected with the squirrel's furry face, sending him flying backwards with no notice from the craggy creature. He landed somewhere in a nearby tree. "COLUGOMON!" Jamario quickly ran to the tree that his digimon partner now occupied.....

Colugomon:

There was a flash, which he presumed to be the result of his attack, then pain, then darkness. Immediately afterwards he felt shaking and heard crying."NO! don't die, you can't be dead, man, I'm gonna get killed out here all by myself." Colugmon looked up to see his human partner sniffling over him on the ground. He qucikly smacked his partner upside the head and barked(squeaked?) "shut up with that talk! I'm fine you're fine, we're both just fine, nothing can hurt me anyway! I killed the rock thing, let's keep going." at that time Colugomon noticed all the commotion going on near him and his partner.

He looked over to see the remaining golemon and Bansheemon fighting with a slew of digimon he did'nt recognize. "See? I'm so strong I split it into a bunch more digimon for those wierdos to fight, who are they anyway?" jamario sweatdropped then rubbed it's head."Uhh, those new guys are the same digiomn from before, they just digivolved again, and the rock thing just kinda elbowed you in the face, then got destroyed by the others"

Colugomon's big cute eyes got bigger as they welled up "WHAT! that's impossible! no way! screw that! time to get serious" colugomon seemed to glow and you could almost see a green from under his's fur, when suddenly Jamario thrust out it's hand holding something reflective "here, I found it on my way to get you, those rock monsters have some kind of smoke attack, these should protect your eyes"

Colugomon's glow dissapeared all at once, his shoulders drooped and he seemed confused he took the item with a kind of sadness and happiness "Ohhh, thank you, is this a .... gift? I appreciate it, not that I need protection or anything, you know, but thanks, actually, I think you might want to keep these, I don't think they'll fit." Colugomon reached up and Put the goggles over his partner's eyes, paused, then pulled jamario's beanie out and placed it over the human's head as well. "you dont want to hurt your head, so who's the strongest here?" The boy pointed out Banasheemon "okay, stand back"

Jamario ducked for cover, Colugomon knew he had to protect his partner, noone had ever given him a gift before. He lept ftom tree to tree until he was in position, then fired himself off like a rocket Towards the humanoid digimon. He began spinning in the air and emmiting a high pitched whistle. "SONIC CHARGE!" the air around his body distorted and he drilled a whole through the canopy on a beeline towards Bansheemon.

Sealdramon's eye quickly washed out what little color was available in the world, leaving Bansheemon's form the only defined shape in sight. However, while her throat retained the defining red mark, the scanner identified it as a potential weak point. Getting to it, as Nekomatomon was finding, was the main problem.

As the crescents of darkness sped through the forest, their intended target merely resumed smiling. The distance and initial trajectory meant that only two of the slices actually had a chance to hit, the other half of the offensive going wide and impacting the ground behind the enemy. Bansheemon tensed before the two true shots reached their mark, putting her hands up in cover while emitting a low, guttural reverb. Striking her arms, the slices dissipated after contact as Bansheemon threw them open with a flourish.

"Not bad." Bansheemon conceded after noticing the not-insubstantial scratches on her arms. "But not good enough." As if to punctuate her remark, Colugomon's loud declaration sounded out, but by the time his whirling dervish of a body reached Bansheemon she had taken off again, hovering above her original entrance point.

Surveying the battlefield, she felt confident in resuming her smile. While the Golemon were on the last legs of the 'run', the group was weakened and no match for her abilities. She would have quite the present to...present for later.

Like most of the dramatic moments in the recent proceedings, a new arrival cut her genial mood short. Sizable orbs of flame impacted against the remaining Golemon, annihilating the remains of her foot soldiers. The flames then redirected towards her, almost singing a bit of her splayed hair.

"No fun." She sighed, floating above the canopy in between the barrage of flame before disappearing into the gloom.

As the group, not relaxing lest their savior turn out to be a new enemy, stared at their surroundings, subconsciously huddling together. On the outskirts of the battle's clearing a series of glowing shapes emerged. Unlike Solmon's illuminated scales, these were figures on fire; Tall humanoids drenched in fire, with small blobs of flames and eyes darting at their feet. Three of the elder blaze beings were evident, a handful of the smaller hanging behind, similar to the child digimon from the nursery.

The most medium new figure stepped forward, white-hot eyes staring at them from above an improbably stitched mouth. "It seems we have found another enemy of Bansheemon."
