Soul Calibur 4 thread for 3/28: New character, confirmed vets, gameplay videos.
 

First off, our new character is known as Angol Fia, and like Schezerwhatever she was designed and drawn by a guest artist, big manga author Mine Yoshizaki, creator of Sgt. Frog which some of you may have heard of.

Schez is old news by now. These guys were just announced. Also, the US release date for both PS3 and 360 versions is apparently June.

Well, we didn't have a thread for Scheherazade (neither for El Fuerte or Abel in SFIV), so I guessed we could put everyone in touch with her.

As for the actual characters, augh. I don't like the designs at all. I understand they are trying to give each one a personality, but there's a point where too much accesoring is too much fucking accesoring.

...no, seriously, I wonder if she'll actually say anything this time around.

I can't honestly say that any of these new characters particularly interest me, not like Zas and Tira did last time round. Each of them seemed so much more unique and different when they were added to the roster, but these lot...meh.

Even that Hilde chick with the lance and sword doesn't seem to offer anything new, she'll probably just end up with moves copied from other characters, like what happened with Sophitia/Cassandra.

Think I'll stick with the tried and tested characters to be honest.

Wait. Zasalamel didn't complete his circle of reincarnation? Or maybe he's in his actual final last live?

So long as Mitsurugi is still in the game, I'll beat all y'alls.

Ugh, I hate Amy. Stupid gothloli for horny otaku. Zas however, is even more badass. Now I just want Hwang, Li Long, and Im pretty much good.

Ami wasn't terrible. She was an interesting concept ever since SCII, what with being Raphael's adopted daughter (even though he's an evil heartless asshole), but then they put her as a playable character.

You know what happens to playable female characters in Soul Calibur. It's just a fact.
