Greatest book Evarz

So, I just finished a book that, when I was about 12 I could never really get into, and I LOVED it. I was actually sad to see I was nearing the end.
The book, Swan Song, by Robert R. McCammon was fan-TASTIC, and so I thought, what's my FAVORITE book...?
I'd really have to break it down to two series'.
In the Fantasy Category I'd have to say the first is The Sword of Truth by Terry Goodkind. Fan-fucking-tastic books all of them.
Next in the Sci Fi Category I'd have to pick the Windowmake Trilogy by Mike Resnick.
So how about it... What's YOUR favorite book?

Probably should be in the books and comic section.

But Proust, In search of Lost Time. If you disagree you are wrong.

Umm, for me, it's Neil Gaiman's Neverwhere.

Cien Años de Soledad by Gabriel García Márquez. Known as One Hundred Years of Solitude for those of you not endowed with the beauty of the mother language.

I also want to read El Amor en los Tiempos del Cólera, but somehow I've been unable to. I'm a literary failure.

So many of them that I love...But to pick one I would have to say Terry Pratchet and Neil Gaiman's Good Omens. I love all of Terry Pratchet's stuff, and add with it Neil Gaiman you have an amazing product. It's got that classic Terry Pratchet satire and, my favorite Character, Death. With Neil's amazing story writing.
