It's the modern day. Technology has reigned surpreme, as humans have covered lands with cities, and life is relitivly peaceful. Underground live what was once the bane of humanity: Vampires. While still mostly shunned, the two groups have managed to finally co-exist with each other, and in the biggest cities, Vampires and humans could be seen at night working togeather. However, there are some who do not wish for this pease. Rogue vampires and human death cults have been popping up, however a secret force made up both humans and Vampires is around to stop them before they manage to stage an uprising, and re-ingite the Vampire Wars.


Magic Notes: Magic can be used in this RP, however it's very limited, and can only be done with the use of special crystals. The power of the spell is only equil to the power the character using it lets it, and there's a limit on how much magic you can use. The more powerful the spell, the more energy will be used up. Keep that in mind.

Vampire Notes: Vampires cannot go out into sun, and are fairly light-sensitive. Normal building light is about the limit they can see clearly, as they are obviously more suited for low-light conditions. Vampires cannot enter churches, though religious symbols have no effect unless they have been bless by a high preast.



Name: Erika Dinar
Age: 47, appers to be in late teens
Race: Vampire
Apperence: 5'9", 113 lbs., Odd-eyed: Left: grey, Right: Light blue; Midnight blue hair, average build, wears an Ice crystal around her neck.
History: Just an average Vampire civilan, she recieved an unusual, light blue crystal before her was changed into a vampire.

Wow, people are sure Vampire crazy around here...

Name: Father Jude (Padre)
Age: 35
Race: Human
Apperence: 6'1, Medium build, wears a normal priests robe with the white collar. His wrists are bulky with his equipment.
Weapons: Has a stake-launcher on his right arm, with a high-powered flashlight mounted on it. Carries an all-silver cross with a built in 2 foot blade, all of which has been doused in holy water and blessed. Various modified grenades, his foremost being his sun-flasher, which is basically a flash grenade that shoots out blinding UV light ("Gar-un-teed to fry vamps, and give insta tans"), plus some holy water splashers. His cross has an inlaid ruby red sapphire, which lets him turn it into a flaming sword of God at the moment he gets angry enough.
History: Part of a small contingent of vampire killing priests. He was picked and outfitted with his weapons, and believes that all vamps are unholy, and therefore open targets.

Name: Artemis
Age: Unknown seems to be in early twenties.
Race: Vampire
Appearance: He is approximately 5'7" with a medium build. He wears black slacks, a blood red dress shirt, black tie, black sports coat, and a long red trenchcoat and a wide brimmed hat that keeps the sun off his skin. He also wears white gloves.
History: His past is shadowed in mystery. No one really knows how long he has been alive but it is obvious he has been around for quite sometime. He is also a vampire hunter that hunts down rogue vamps. He finds them to be nothing more then roaches that need to be stepped on.
Possesions: He has on his right hand a ring with a ruby red crystal inset into it as well as a Cross of Suffering with an onyx crystal set in it.
Weapons: He has a unique gun that has an extended barrel which is about a foot long. It is jet black with the words "Welcome to Paradise" inscribed in silver along the barrel's length. It fires alternating incendiary bullets and exploding bullets. It is magazine fed and holds fifteen shots. The bullets have also been made with blessed silver. He also has foot long blades that are in wrist sheaths that come out when he flips his wrists hard.

Name: Nakia Nicle

Age: 38

Race: Human

Weapons: Fists

Apperence: 6' 3'' 218lbs, well built black man. Can usually be found wearing dark green cargos and a black tee.

History: Born a fighter, he grew up in the streets, but by no means was he a washout. He did well in school, and defended most of the kids that were picked on. He may look big, but he really has a big heart inside. Became a prize boxer, and now runs a gym for people who want to learn the ways of boxing. Has always been sympathetic to vampires.

Name: Joseph Smith (yeah, he's a common character for me for those of you who've seen him before)
Age: 30
Race: Human
Appearance: Tall, about 6 foot 2, with pale skin, dark hair and eyes. Dresses neatly in a black shirt and trousers, with a dark full length coat worn outside these. Averagely built, gives the impression of being quite strong, though is sinewy rather than muscled. His hair is lightly spiked. Around his neck he wears a silver chain with a purely black obsidian-like crystal. Rather than using it for effect spells he tends to use it to enhance his speed and reactions. His coat, though it cannot be seen, houses a small pistol, and he carries a blade slung over his back (for the decapitation and thus killing of vampires)

History: No history to speak of. He arrived in the city recently, though has not really been noticed, something that suits him just fine. Nevertheless several vampires have died by his hand already. What he holds against vampires is hard to tell, his motives are shrouded in mystery.

How vampy are the vampires? We know they're light-sensitive, but do they turn to dust if you stake em in the heart? What other methods are they killable by is my question, since I (and I think Dr DR) are gunna be killing lots of them.

When their heart is destroyed, the vampire's dead. no dust really unless they get cought in the sun for too long. Garlic doesn't repel them, though Garlic breath, that's a diffrent thing. Trust me. Garlic breath can repel anything if it's bad enough.

BMH: UV doesn't have any effect on Vampires. And the "Flaming Sword of God" I'm a little....well, I'm not what to place that under. You may have to drop that. I'll have to think about it a bit. If it's not used that often, I'll let you keep it.

Dr. DR: Can't manuplate Gravity. Sorry, but I know we bend the rules of physics in RPs, but the law of Gravity still applies.

Well if they're hurt by sunlight...and sunlight is UV...meh, I'll just change it to a ultraflasher.

And the flaming thing is only when he gets really pissed off at something, and since he's been trained to handle anything, the minimum you'd have to do is kill an entire church full of people then piss on their corpses.
