Driving Music Suggestions
My friends and I have finally recieved our music editing & mixing software, and we're ready to compile a new mix CD. The premise is that we're in need of good music to drive to, and we're open to some suggestions.
At the moment, we have: SPEED - Atari Teenage Riot Given Up - Linkin Park I Stand Alone - Godsmack Crank That - Soulja Boy Conteo - Don Omar This project will last a while until we get a true playlist ready. Does anyone have any good suggestions? |
Lost Prophets - Ride
Nickleback - Animal Seether - Remedy Nickelback - Savin me Nickleback - Far Away P.O.D. - Boom Sepultura - Bullet The Blue Skies Overseer - Doomsday Puddle of Mud - Control Zebrahead - Now or never Puddle of mud - Famous Metallica - Fuel ( how the hell did you let this one pass by!? ) |
I see you enjoy the Tokyo Drift Soundtrack, eh?
Well the you must throw in! Tokyo Drift - Teriyaki Boyz blink-182 - Party Escape the Fate - Situations Little John - Get Down Avenged Sevenfold - Bat Country |
Gold Earring - Radar Love
I mean, come on, that's an essential driving song. Shame on all of you for neglecting it. |
Creep - TLC
Shame on YOU for neglecting it. A mix CD is not a mix CD if it does not include this song - it is merely a collection of songs stored digitally onto a plastic disk. |
Maserati - Show me the Season
Clipse - Trill Apparat Organ Quartet - Romantika The Go! Team - Juniort Kickstart LCD Soundsystem - Movement Sunset Rubdown - Mending of the Gown Bruce Springsteen - Born to Run Vitalic - My Friend Dario |
Thanks for the songs ideas, I'm writing them down to consult with friends about what to select.
Keep giving me some ideas~! |
For pure cheesiness value, Wheels of Fire - Manowar.
For pure AWESOMENESS value however, Where Dragons Rule - Dragonforce. The only problem with that song however, is that a good quality version of it is REALLY hard to find. PM me if you want a good copy of it. |
It kind of depends what kind of driving you mean as that e.g. good cruising music is totally different from good speeding music and trying to listen to the one while you're doing the other just causes problems. Backroads? Open highway? Busy highway? Local roads? Single-lane local roads or multilane local roads? All these factors are essential considerations in determining the optimal music with which to enhance your drive-time experience.
That said, if you want some showing-no-respect-whatsoever-for-laws-or-our-own-mortality driving music there's no single song better than Ace of Spades by Motorhead. Alternately if you're looking for more of a speed-with-precision kind of vibe Up for Sale by the International Noise Conspiracy would be one quite sound option. |
If you're on the motorway all you need is Highway to Hell and Bat out of Hell.
