It was bad enough when Sony decided to use the shitty Sixaxis. I really think this is a joke, or is MS really capable of such a blatant ripoff?

Per the article, a source with in Microsoft "alleges" that a motion sensing controller and a Mii-like avatar system are being worked on for Live. The key word being "alleges". But I wouldn't put it past M$ to do something like this.

I dunno, call me a skeptic, but the buttons look all distorted and aliased compared to the actual body of the remote itself. To be quite frank I think it's a rather mediocre photoshop. If it is a copy of the Wiimote like that, then shame on you Microsoft, nobody's gonna willingly buy that thing.

It's photoshopped you can see it quite clearly if you look at the arrow buttons.

So yeah, they're probably not making that controller, but why can't everyone else get on the band wagon. I'd personally love to have a system that can do it all. PS3 Graphics with Wii-mote action and 360 online and library. Sign me up.

Well, I doubt that is the real image of what they'll make. That's probably just dvice.com's idea of what it might look like if a Wiimote and a 360 controller mated and had a bastard mutant child.
