Where can I find Atomic Robo?

Like the title says, I like the concept of Atomic Robo, and from what I've seen (limited to what Brian has put on the site for free), it seems fun, bright, and different, compared to the 50 or so nihilistic ultra-villain for protagonist comics I've heard about (an exaggeration, but still).

However, I do not know where exactly I could find Atomic Robo. Could I find in just any comic book store, or would I have to go to a more specialized store?

You don't get any more specialized than a comic book store. Luckily, that's where you go to pick it up. Finding issues at this point is a gamble. It's impossible to find in some areas because the retailers don't know about it or they do know about it and it sells out like crazy. In other areas, there'll plentiful!

If they don't have it on the shelves, you can have them order the issues for you. If they say they can't, they're probably lying.

But, if you've waited this long, you might want to wait until June 11th to get your Robo comics. That's when the trade paperback comes out and it collects all six issues of the first volume as well as all the bonus material. You'll be able to get that at comic book stores and most chain book stores or Amazon.com.

Ah, I see. Then I'd find an issue in a store that sells a large amount of comics for 1 US dollar apiece? Most of the comics are fairly old, around the 1990's and 80's, so I'm still not sure if I'd find Atomic Robo there.

Otherwise, how much does the trade paperback cost?

It's fairly unusual for a comic shop to only sell back issues like that without stocking current issues. Unless it's at a flea market.

The trade will be about $18.

I know, but he doesn't put a whole issue of Atomic Robo on the site for free. We have to pay if we want to read an issue. Which is good, because Brian gets money, which funds his ability to live comfortably. Comfortably living, in turn, allows Brian to think of more funny, which is great.

... What point was I trying to make again?

Wherever dishonesty and hatred flourish; wherever the oppressed are beaten down; wherever a hero is needed.

I hope that answered that question for you.

Seil, you have a facepalm pic, right? Look at that, and then you shall understand my reaction to your post.

Seriously though, I just bought some comics at the store I referenced earlier, and I was reading a "MidKnight" issue #2, and it had an ad for Issue 6 of 6 of Atomic Robo!

I see that MidKnight or Midknight or however you say the name is a Red 5 comic, as is Robo.

Which leads me to my next question. Would you recommend MidKnight? What I read looks interesting to me, I got the issue I read for 1 US dollar, and I could probably get more issues, so it'd probably be a good deal either way. However, I'm not sure if it would interest me.

You can even subscribe to Robo there, so when you forget to ask for it you will get a reminder in the email.
