FF X HELP! (please?)
 

I'm having trouble with Crawler (the big tank thingy with an anti-magic field). Does anybody know how do beat it? It's driving me nuts! Crazy! Bonkers! Please?

Kill the thingies that are floating near it, then you can use magic.

That don't do jack. After you kill the shield; the tank does a 1500 dmg attack on everybody! C'mon, I need somebody with more than half a brain cell and good advice.

Then kill the shield, have Yuna summon an aeon to take the attack (there is a count down timer) and then whoop its ass. And who has half the brain cell, the guy whos already beaten it and telling you what to do, or you who has to come running here to formulate a strategy?

Definatly. Remember, if someone pulls a strong move on you, get an aeon to take the hit. There is no reason why you should.

OR

you do have one God in your lineup. Riku. She (should) has a bunch of Al Bhed potions and even more gernades and other items. Riku was the best person for this fight because she could attack and heal without worrying about it being magic.

like he said it tells you when the attack is comming so be ready for it, when you kill the little orb blast him with lightning attacks and aeons, If Titus as Haste yet just use that on Lulu and Yuna and it should be a peice of cake.

I agree with the other's advice. And sometimes, the thing will dispatch another anti-magic thing during it's count-down, then just let the anti-magic thing stay until the count-down is done, since it will interrupt the Mana Beam.
I suggest using Ixion after you destroy the anti-magic thing. And have Yuna's overdrive ready, so you can do a grand summon. And if Ixion's overdrive is ready AND you use Yuna's overdrive, you can use Thor's Hammer twice right awya, which does a LOT of damage for that monster.

If you talked to the dog in Besaid for Valefor's other Overdrive, don't bother with Ixion and use Valefor for Overdrive attacks. Valefor's second Overdrive is better then any of the other early Aeons.

Pfft. Screw all that. Just toss Auron, Tidus, and Rikku in your group and ignore the A/M things. That's what I've done every time after the first fight. Just beat the shit out of it with physical attacks...

Like I said. Riku's powers are amazing in this battle. Use the aeons to take the big hit.
