Would anyone be interested in an RP taking place in the Metroid/Metroid Prime universe? Post up if you'd like something like that.

Sure, but what would we play as, and where would it be? Space Pirates got blowed up in the first one, Metroids bit the big one in Super Metroid, all the parasites and Zebes blowd up real good in Fusion...

played Metroid Prime yet? Space Pirates are much more widespread than you'd think, as are metroids. Chances are that you'd be playing as interstellar police or bounty hunters.

If we're bounty hunters, do we have to follow Samus's look, or can we make up our own style...do you have a storyline in place by the way...

Sounds fun, but do you have a plan or something? We can't just run around with multiple Samus clones. She is the only one with that stuff after all...

Actually it was all her Power Suit, but I always assumed the Chozos gave it to her alone. If we were bounty hunters we'd have to have our own equipment, bounty hunters arent really part of an organization that hands out the Power Suits.

Well sure I like the idea but were will it take place? There arnt that many planets in the Metriod series.Also I like the idea of haveing space pirates as an option.

If we did it before even Metroid...just create a few extra planets (just throw some random numbers, letters and dashes and BOOM) and have aplot about the uprising of the Space Pirates...

I'm certainly interested, but are there any duplicates of the Power Suit? I thought it was just for Samus. Perhaps a legacy of weapons or armor left behind by the Chozo before their extinction, maybe?

I'm pretty sure that Samus was the only one who had it, it seemed to be Chozo only, and Samus was the only one we know of that spent time with them before they got wiped out.

I could go with the bounty hunter idea. As long as we have no Samus clones...or worse, anybody who wants to be Samus...although if they were Samus, they'd only have missles and a blaster, she had to find all her other stuff...
