Guess I'll keep going on the rolls like I am now. Considering the number that died, I don't think I could be any less lenient without turning the RP into a bloodbath... (And no IHMN and krylo, people may die, but no bloodbaths...)

JADGuy, you new priest looks fine to me. When I post, there will be a three week period for everyone to train their characters/due miscellaneous. Frankie will be in the hospital for 1-2 weeks, and Sith may be in the hospital longer if I don't drop him outright (He hasn't posted in a while.) Everyone else will be able to heal up without medical attention.

And I know you have been itching to have your characters get a hold of some Mythos books, so after the next mission, the opportunity will arise... I also have an actual campaign type story idea after 2-3 more missions, although the RP will continue after that if you wish.

EDIT: Does anyone else think the forum has been going really slowly tonight?

So... what shall I do? PM me, oh great FZ.

Hmm, Well, since I am going to post it eventually anyway, the investigators are about to get a small mansion from the dearly departed Mr. Merriweather as part of his last will and testament. This will be the new base of operations, even though it will start out empty. Basically part of the free time will be spent with everyone moving in to the new base. After that, they may (Or may not) start up an invetigation service to make money since many will have had to leave jobs behind. This will be a chance to get rid of stragglers (They can leave, not wanting to join the Mythos hunt) and allow new characters a chance to join (Think they are joining an average, everyday investigation service, until one day when someone gets the rumor, and the new guy is sucked into the Mythos.) You will join in specifically either in week 2, or week 3 depending on how fast the others are to set up their new buisness and move in.

So I could say my new guy was hired? That makes it alot easier.

Squishy Cheeks 03-28-2004 09:39 PM

My guy will be investigating the disappearance of Father McGruder

Forever Zero 03-28-2004 09:45 PM

Joining the investigators is only one option that makes it easeir to rejoin when you die. Other investigators looking into the disappearance of old friends will work too.

Hmmm...I'm thinking of picking either a criminal or a drifter. Which one does the almighty GM think would be better?

Krylo 03-28-2004 09:52 PM

Criminal! Then when Frankie dies we'll have 3 criminals in the group. Let's shoot for a lawless troop of ass whuppers.

IHateMakingNames 03-28-2004 09:54 PM

Be a difter. Then we atleast only have 2 of one occupation.

Or be neither and find another job...

Krylo 03-28-2004 10:06 PM

He could be a knee-breaker... we don't really have anyone super-proficient in the unarmed/melee arts, or even anyone on dock like that.

Stats something like:

Str: 14
Con: 18
Size: 17
Int: 8
Dex: 8
Pow: 9
App: 3
Edu: 3

And skills like this (with 20 unused personal moved to occupational):
Occupational:
Bargain-3
Disguise-3
Fast Talk-3
Handgun-12
Locksmith-3
Sneak-3
Spot Hidden-3
Punch-50

Personal:
Dodge: 30
Martial Arts: 30

Items:
Brass Knuckles
Pinstripe Suit
Brooklyn Accent

Edit: I don't suggest actually using this guy, because he'd be useless for anything other than breaking knees.
