You already know that Henry's going over there. Granted, he thinks it'll be dangerous, but he'll be on the look out. Also, it's still light out, and the man had not mentioned any murders.

Besides, he still has the gun. Sure, he doesn't know how to use it properly (yet), but it will provide some confidence.

Then again, maybe none of the other residents had ever had a chance to fully investigate with the proper tools, knowledge, and experience to deal with it.

*Sigh* Meh...maybe I'll be lucky and Dave will try to steal something, causing him to take the brunt of the whatever's wrath.
