I'd report you for disruptive posting, but I doubt it'd win me points with the mods.

So uh, Where do I fall in. You never really addressed lurkers. >>

actually, I might fall into regulars catagory, but I doubt it.

I'd say you've strayed from your place... Now get back to work! XD

Well, shit, I figure if you're gonna cunting use "dick"--and who doesn't?--then you may as fucking well use "cunt". Both or nothin'.
See, my problem with cunt is that it hasn't really evolved to be used in multiple grammarry ways. You can construct a sentence entirely out of fucks, but you can't really use cunt as, say, an adjective, or even anything other than 'disrespectful epithet describing a women'. Also, any case where you really want to say cunt is also an opportunity that you could have been using twat, and twat is clearly the better choice in such situations.

Cunt is ugly.

Nobody likes cunt.

I apologize for using the word and will not do so again.

I find it hard to believe that there are 14 000 registered member. Or is that just a made up figure anyways?

Melfice 05-19-2008 03:17 PM

No, there are actually over 14.000 registered members.
Of course, most of them have never posted.

Fifthfiend 05-19-2008 03:20 PM

It's actually more like 9,000. Or rather, it's about 14,000 but only if you count in the "registered" and "waiting for email confirmation groups" which all amount to usernames that people couldn't be bothered to completely set up; and a fair percentage of that is gonna be your outright spambots and robotrolls.

EDIT:

Standard Users 9,433

Registered Users 2,921

Users Awaiting Email Confirmation 1,904

So for whatever that's worth to you. We're probably due for a purge of the registered / confirmation groups.

Either semi-regular or posts every couple of months, depending on whether you post more or less than once a month.

You could probably come up with a formula to determine level of userness derived from a combination of concrete values, number of posts, length of membership, average posts per day (which is really just #posts/length-membership, but would be it's own variable, as it'd be important independent from the other variables), etc.

And a holistic assessment of user recognition, and personal assessment.

User recognition would be the difficult term to quantify, as it would depend on a survey guaging people's perception of a particular user, and their posting regularity.

Personal assessment would be quantified by the individuals perception of their own posting habits.

But that'd just be really nerdy.

I want to do it now.

Personally, I think I fall somewhere in the semi-regular to lurker category, depending on how busy I am. My reply to not-reply ratio on topics I read is probably somewhere around 1:20 or 1:30.

Although one other forum I visit does censor a lot of curse words and I dunno, the asterisks have their own sort of weird charm.

I used it once to describe a woman who was screaming at her child so viciously because it wanted a drink of water before going to bed... This woman was the aunt to my best friends G/F... I don't remember why I was at her house. I only remember that I called her a Cunt. I threw the F-bomb in there for good measure too before I walked out the door. I was THAT offended by her.

And I don't even LIKE kids...
