Help me out here guys...
 

So, everyone. Me and my wife are really into this Free MMO called Rappelz.

We like it so much, we would really like to start a guild, but we would prefer to get a guild site + forum up and running before we start it up in the game. Also, if we decide to join any other games and do something similar... well, we'll have it up and running.

Some of you will remember that I had my own website a while back. If you are one of the few who remember, you probably also know that it is no longer around so I have no webspace at the moment.

I'm wondering if some of you might recommend a good free-hosting service along with a free-forum script or something that we might be able to build the guild site around. I'm not really in a position to buy anything fun like webspace at the moment. Also, if people have questions or want to discuss Rappelz, um, I guess we could move this to the Gaming section?

I've seen ads for Rappelz and even visited the homepage once. Its got pretty pictures.

I'm sure you can google up some free forum and webspace sites. I haven't been involved in the building of either in quite a few years, so I can't really recommend anything from personal experience (nevermind the fact that I've forgotten what I used)

Google is unfortunately not turning up exactly what I'm looking for. Kind of hoping someone has a recommendation?

As far as rappelz, yes it does have pretty pictures! It looks great and its pretty fun. Probably not as good as WoW, but the price can't be beat.

Isn't Invisionfree a free forum service?

Yeah, and they're pretty good too. House of Roleplay was on there originally, and while I was there we never had any downtime.

I played Rappelz a bit. It was kind of cool, but the tutorial was stupidly long, so I never finished it.

It's an MMO, so I'll likely never get into it, but for anyone who's wondering; you'll probably enjoy it if you're into that sort of thing. Graphics are actually pretty darned good for being 100% free.

Rappelz is a grindfest, but still quite an excellent game. I play on the Tortus server, if that's where you happen to be.
