Episode 994: "Probably nothing."
Technically, they are among the most responsible characters in the comic. What a horrifying thought.

Spelled manage wrong in the third to last panel. Just FYI.

Also, you ended with a comma. It could have been intentional, but who knows,
|
Was that really something they wanted BM to see? Christmas came early for BM this year.
|
its not the amount of knowledge that has shut BM down, hes just so overwhelmed by the possibilities that his mind cant figure out what to do next. Hes basically drooling at those plans.

Man, I don't know... there are less clumsy ways of creating subtext than having characters blatantly state the opposite of the truth so that the reader can say, "Ha, it's funny because that's so not the case." That's the kind of thing seen a lot in the early 8BT comics with awkward lines like "I'm certainly NOT [insert action that the character is certainly doing], if that's what you're wondering." And this particular page is full of that. Unfortunate.
Well, whatever. Doesn't change the fact that I'm really interested in seeing where this plot thread is going. |
Well, yes, it is an obvious setup/statement, but at least it's consistent, eh? Besides, with a device such as what we now know the datasphere to be, he can get away with some tried-true-and-tireds, eh?

black mage is officially "broken" ...again

For whatever reason whenever RM said the words "time travel paradox" I was excited for only a moment, because seconds after I remembered that Brian didn't wanna go that route.
But I want time travel! Oh the hilarity that would ensue! |
BM+ All the possible ways to build all the possible devices to destroy every possible thing in creation = and lo, the end was nigh
