Praise for a miracle device

Ok, so I don't want to advertise anyone, or anything with this, but I felt the need to really go on about this thing that, on a whim, I tried because nothing else was really working..

So to the story, I have some sort of weird reaction to something (still unidentified) at work that causes the tips and sides of my fingers to break out in a horrible and debilitating rash. The inflamation is so bad it starts to cause joint pain.
Now Steroid creams work just fine, I guess, but they take nearly a weak to start working, and 2 or 3 days after that before the rash is all gone.
Afterwards the skin starts flaking and chunking off in horrible chunks, and it's just a miserable experience.
Now here's where things get a little umm... weird. My friend has this umm... toy, that she uses that is very similar to those glass plasma balls except the electricity arcs from the outside to your skin, instead of staying inside the glass. Supposedly the were invented specifically for skin problems like psoriasis and dandruff, etc, but were abandoned as quack medicine. Well not only did it clear up my fingers in less than 2 days, with zero flaking of dead skin, but it's also cleared up my small acne problem, something I've been trying to do since I was like.. F-ing 14.
These things are called Violet Wands, I believe. Like I said, I hope this doesn't sound like I'm trying to advertise or nothing, and a mod can delete/lock this thread if they want, I just REALLY wanted to let anyone who was interested know that I really recommend these things for skin issues.

...You're using a sex toy on your hands and face.

I can't imagine why I would close this thread when it promises so much humiliation.

Torque just made my day.

Seriously, and to think that I was going to go to bed two hours ago.

This is hilarious.

I...I really don't know what to say to this. I have to agree with the statement of "Awesome Friends." I mean come on! A bondage sex toy also being used for facial and finger pain? Now that's where a handy marketing team can work wonders!

To be fair there's no small number of household items that could easily pass for or are commonly used as BDSM equipment.

On a different note, I'm not exactly sure about how electrifying your rash makes it go away, but then I'm no doctor. If that worked for more things than rashes the field of medicine would be a lot more awesome though.

Oh I agree, and won't dispute what medical science has found about these things.
Personally, I'd be tempted to believe that rather than "make the rash" go away it just sorta... killed off whatever was making my skin break out, and let my body do the rest.
I don't know. I just wanted to share an experience in case anyone else had/has a similar problem.
Like I said earlier.. I don't wanna sound like I'm hawking these things, I just thought it might be information someone would want.

hey dude, relax.. all funny aside, if it works, it works... hell, after i saw that Anal Bleaching was a cosmetic procedure done by doctors, nothing scares me no more!

Now, to be honest... you should probably talk with a Dermathologist about it at first chance, just to see if there are any side effects to it. If there arent any, Hell, buy one of those "Hash-go-away" yourself and kept it around...

Just dont let your friends or family find it... because that would be just to hilarious...

"I know what you're thinking... but really, it's for me rash!!"

To be even more fair, violet wands are sold pretty much exclusively as BDSM and/or self-stimulation equipment.

Well, this, combined with a bat that's flitting around the building, just made this into an interesting work night for me.
