So apparently this is like Capcom vs Anime. Tatsunoko Productions have produced such animes as Speed Racer, Gatchaman (that dude with the bird helmet) and had some part in Evanglion (but they don't own it).

So this is like MVC3 in spirit I suppose.

Sweet! I loved MvC2, and even if its a different cast, if ti has the same over the top gameplay and ionsane specials, Im sold.

I will buy this and plug in the second controller and not let anyone else play just so I can beat the shit out of defenseless anime.

But for the American release, they're going to have to sift through about 50 translations of Gatchaman to figure out what names to use for the team. XD

If the Wiki is to be believed Tatsunoko did at least work on Evanglion. You never know, Gainax might let them use it.

It could come out. All those shows were released at one point or another. I doubt this would be Wii, but a PS3 and 360 port are inevitable.
