I mean come on, they are just trying to get by like the rest of us. Just trying to survive...

And besides, just because their culture is so different doesn't make them evil, and I'm sure if people stopped climbing into there underground cities and killing/stealing from them, they'd be perfectly fine.

The eldritch mafia picture: BRILLIANT! Possibly the best artwork in 8-bit Theater. Well, it would be except for the new ToF design, which I suppose beats it.

I suspect that the illithid would still pose a threat even if people stopped killing/stealing from them. They do believe that they have the right to enslave all other races and eat their brains, and like to exercise that 'right' at every opportunity do they not? So unless you wish to become brainless or enslaved a healthy opposition to the illithids seems necessary. Not that it will necessarily do you any good.

(I also can't help remarking on 404's sig. Read Frege and Russell: 'nothing' can only refer to a situation wherein 'the collection of stuff falling under such and such a concept is in bijective correspondence with the null set' and is therefore not paradoxical. I paraphrase. I also probably tell you what you already know.)

You know... I sense Drizz'l could be speculating. The Temple's new layout might be someone else's handywork. Perhaps someone that may have told the Goddamn Light Warriors where they were possibly going.
