Videos that are also Musical that are also Videos

Let us dedicate a thread to rumination on those wonderful vignettes that accompany various musical releases. Which are totally awesome? Which blew your mind? Which changed the very way you live?

Also, please, don't be afraid to discuss your choices, or the choices of others. It's not very illuminating to see only "I LIKE BLAH*. HUR." It's such a tremendous letdown. Very disappointing. And please, for the love for all that is right, no Anime Music Videos. Those are just a crime against... well, pretty much everything!

Anyway, on with the show!

Whilw eatching Weezer's most recent video (which is essentially the ultimate tribute to viral videos), Pork and Beans, I realize a couple of things.
1) Weezer knows how to make a damn good video.
2) Rivers Cuomo should not have a moustache, as he either looks like a gay cowboy or the creepy date-rape guy who stands by the keg at parties.

I so totally thought the first link was this.

On more of a topic, I've seen a few music videos, and none of them really blow me away. But I have always have had a soft spot for the Rammstein video for Ich Will. The way they record it is just nice.

RickRolling is seriously one of the most asinine things I've seen come out of the internet. I mean, I was reared in the internet where if you prodded the wrong link, you got to say "Howdy Doo!" to a gaping butthole.

Now that was something to laugh at someone for. Shiney was really good at it, I must say.

No more looking behind us, back to the topic at hand!

Crazy, by Gnarls Barkley, is absolutely mesmerizing. How they blend from inkblot to inkblot, it's simply brilliant work.

The Avalanches - Frontier Psychiatrist which is prety good for the second one but they also did a Inkblot one
note that the first one is the closest a sober person can get to a acid trip

I don't love you no more

I know it's an unofficial video, but it's so well made I couldn't not post it (Even if they did miss what the song is actually about...)

That makes me wonder why, or if, anyone uses acid more than once.

More on topic, insane wacko randomness + the entire video run backwards = awesome.

I really dig this music video.

Also, this isn't bad for an amateur music video.
and same song, new video after getting signed.

I can't link to it right now, but the GWAR music video cover of Schools Out is fecking amazing.

Also I think Face Down by Red Jumpsuit Apparatus represents the song and the idea very well.

For shame, people.
For shame...

EDIT for BraveFencer, because he's apparantly been sodomized by RickRolls too much:
GODDAMN THRILLER!

You know, it'd be nice knowing what I'm clicking to see before I have to click to see it.

Just saying.
