Dante vs. Alucard
 

This is a vary popular debate betwix' my friends and I. Who would win in a fight Dante the half-human, half-demon son of Sparda the legendary dark knight or Alucard the half-human, half-vampire son of Dracula the vampire original.
Note: Assume Dante after Devil May Cry 1.

I have to give advantage to Dante if for no other reason than Inferno is one of the single most crazy mad strong moves ever.

Alucard, hands down. Dante uses guns because they're actually useful, even in comparison with his sword attacks. Alucard uses guns because he's so frickin' strong that using a sword makes everything too easy.

Alucard wins, hands down. Crissaegrim + Soul Steal = one severely fucked Dante.

Whatever force motivated these two characters to fight each other would become the target of both characters aggression before the fight could resolve itself.

I say Alucard, just because I never played DMC, and Alucard's a weapon master. I mean, the guy can use guns, swords, whips, axes, and a whole bunch of other things.

Were there guns in Castlecania: SOTN? I don't remember. Plus, I'd rather not think about this battle.

I'm gonna vote Dante, just because he'd the Dark Horse in this match, and I like linking my sword and my guns. Besides, stopping in midair for a moment after using a shotgun is kewl.

I think Dante could win, just go devil mode and air raid him till death.

Man I really don't remember guns in SOTN. I just used the Heavenly Sword the whole game after I got it. Another question how useful is Vortex? Because by the time I could afford it I had the Ifrit gauntels and got Metor and Inferno instead.
