OOC: It seems almost unfair that I've been adapting to Coyote's relentless assault on my sanity...but I'll work out something.

BIC: I'm really fucking lost Wolf thought. No matter what he tried, he couldn't find a way out. His trails were starting to go in circles, and he had long run out of identifying marks.

I'm lost! I'M IN THE PLACE OF LOST! he mentally shouted as he sliced apart a wall in a fit of rage.

Squishy Cheeks 04-07-2004 10:04 PM

"Everyone always get's lost in the Escher room. No body ever gets lost in the picasso room."

"The picasso room, despite the cubism, is just a hallway."

"Very true."

"I wonder which will happen first the IPD breaks down or the idiot with the sword get's turned into a llama."

"The IPD can't break down."

*POIT*

"Well he's a cute llama."

MC43 04-08-2004 09:29 AM

OOC: You sick and twisted bastard.

Monk raced into the room, seeing his comrades panting and sweating in their chairs. "What's going on!?"

"Monk... I thought you were..." The operator started.

"What the heck is going on!"

"I'm actually... not that sure sir."

"Not sure!? Where are they?"

"Uh..."

"You have a screen there... right!?"

"Yes sir."

"What does it say?"

"Nothing." He shrugged, and leaned back a little.

"Nothing!? Where are they!?"

"I don't know! They are gone!"

Monk sighed. He was now glad that Wolf taught him a thing or two about computers, so he took a glance at the screen, to see a big black hole in the middle of it. "What does that mean?" He never saw that before.

"That would be where we sent them."

"But...?"

"It's gone. It... vanished."

Monk paused, and said weakly, "I may not be a technician like you... but how in the world do you lose a piece of cyber space!?"

"I'm... not sure..."

Monk sighed and sat in his chair, "Get me as close as you can."

"I'll do the best I can." Aother tech put the plug in his neck and nodded to the operator. "He's in."

"Good luck sir!"

Monk closed his eyes, and let sleep come over him once again, ready to let another dream take over his mind. However, when he opened his eyes, he saw the black hole that was where the team was dropped off. "Ah... he wasn't kidding. It really just vanished." He looked around. "Where are they!? I need to help them!"

OOC: Oh yeah... by the way, just WHERE are you?

Wolf99x 04-08-2004 09:36 AM

OOC: As far as I know, I'm stuck in the Escher room of the mansion. As for where the mansion is...I'm not entirely sure...I don't even know if its a mansion anymore!

BIC: Wolf tired of slicing through walls, and slumped up against a stairwell. His nano-augmentations had finally sapped most of his energy.

I'm lost, I don't know where the fuck anybody else is...they might all be dead for all I know. As for Monk...well...comas suck.

Squishy Cheeks 04-08-2004 10:40 AM

ooc: Reight now the mansion resembles Santa's workshop and we are at the Geographic northpole.

batgirl 04-08-2004 06:09 PM

OOC: Damn, I hate computer problems...

BIC: Jade was standing on what looked like a giant hill of snow, but in reality was a giant hill of frozen tapioca pudding. The trailer had morphed into some kind of toy factory at the bottom. Taking one step forward, she immediately slipped and skidded all the way down the mountain. "Ow..." She was getting a bit fed up with the day's events. Her comm system was playing "It's a small world" over and over in her ear whenever she turned it on, her PDAP kept telling her that he "wasn't in Kansas anymore" and a penguin had just slapped her ass. "That's it!" There was only so much that Jade could take. She unsheathed her sword and sliced the door open. She walked into...ntohingness. She was standing in the middle of a dark room, with nothing inside. "Where the hell is everyone?"

Darth SS 04-08-2004 07:34 PM

A giggling Angel was walking towards where Jade was.

"Dear GOD I've never been so satisfied in my life."

Squishy Cheeks 04-08-2004 07:54 PM

ooc: You have no idea where Jade is. And now she is not even in the same basic area.

The white light setteled into what resembled a doctor's waiting room.

___________

Sarge grabbed the management sign off the door. He then ate the sign. "Tastes like choclate." he said to the other soldiers.

Wolf99x 04-08-2004 08:44 PM

Wolf had no idea how long he had sat there, but he felt like quitting.

I've failed. I promised Monk I'd make sure Jade would get back safe...and now I don't even know where she is. I can't even find my way out of this fucking room. Even if I could escape, I'll be the only one left.

Just then he remembered why they were sent here in the first place: Coyote had a Cyber WMD, and Wolf and the others were here to stop it before anyone else got hurt.

Including Katlin...and I promised myself and her that I'd free her...I can't do that if I'm here contemplating quitting. Even if I am alone, I can't quit. For all I know, I may be the only one capable of stopping Coyote now.

He stood up, heedless of the numbness in his legs. I will get out of here...and I will stop that virus.

Wolf decided he needed a new way of marking his path. Maybe if I wrote something on the walls as I walk by.

Listening to his PDAP's MP3 player, he got an idea. Walking along the walls, he began to inscribe the following:

"Way back when I was just a little bitty boy living in a box under the stairs in the corner of the basement half a block down the street from Jerry's Bait shop
You know the place
well anyway, back then life was going swell and everything was just peachy

Except, of course, for the undeniable fact that every single morning
My mother would make me a big bowl of sauerkraut for breakfast

Awww - Big bowl of sauerkraut
Every single mornin
It wa driving me crazy

I said to my mom
I said "Hey, mom, what's with all the sauerkraut?"
And my dear, sweet mother
She just looked at my like a cow looks at an oncoming train
And she leaned right down next to me
And she said "IT'S GOOD FOR YOU"
And then she tied me to the wall and stuck a funnel in my mouth
And force fed me nothing but sauerkraut until I was twenty six and a half years old

That's when I swore that someday
Someday I would get outta that basement and travel to a magical, far away place
Where the sun is always shining and the air smells like warm root beer
And the towels are oh so fluffy
Where the shriners and the lepers play their ukuleles all day long
And anyone on the street will glady shave your back for a nickel

Wacka wacka doodoo yeah

Well, let me tell you, people, it wasn't long at all before my dream came true
Because the very next day, a local radio station had this contest
To see who could correctly guess the number of molecules in Leonard Nimoy's butt
I was off by three, but I still won the grand prize
That's right, a first class one-way ticket to

Albuquerque
Albuquerque

Oh yeah
You know, I'd never been on a real airplane before
And I gotta tell ya, it was really great
Except that I had to sit between two large Albanian women with excruciatingly severe body odor
And the little kid in back of me kept throwin' up the whole time
The flight attendants ran out of Dr. Pepper and salted peanuts
And the in-flight movie was Bio-Dome with Pauly Shore
And, oh yeah, three of the airplane engines burned out
And we went into a tailspin and crashed into a hillside
And the plane exploded in a giant fireball and everybody died
Except for me
You know why?

'Cause I had my tray table up
And my seat back in the full upright position
Had my tray table up
And my seat back in the full upright position
Had my tray table up
And my seat back in the full upright position"

He kept walking and inscribing, grinning madly.

OOC: I couldn't fit the full lyrics on to the page, and just imagine if Coyote decided to use That for his next target.

MC43 04-08-2004 09:21 PM

Monk took a deep breath and considered his options. Beyond him was a big black hole. Just... Black. Nothing else. He found a rock and threw it in, but it passed through, not making a sound hitting the ground, if there was ground at all. Shaking, he took a step towards the black, and reached out his hand. I am Monk... I can do anything... He reached foward, I have been taught to never fear, and to help those that are in need of help. He could feel cold coming from inside. Cold... I've only felt this twice before. Death. He grinned. "I've lived through it twice! Let's hope that third time isn't the charm!" Pulling his hand back, he lunged in, head first, fell for what seemed to be forever in black. Just... Black.

BOING! Monk could feel himself fall into something soft, gel like. He forced his eyes open to see a pink pile of Jell-o now surrounding him. Falling through it, he landed in green, then in blue, and the colors just continued. What the...? What is going on!? He fell through another when it all hit him. He was falling, the greatest danger to him, something he couldn't take. He closed his eyes and screamed as loud as he could, not knowing how far the bottom would be...

...if there was a bottom...

Squishy Cheeks 04-08-2004 10:04 PM

(Jade Only) In the waiting room a teenage clone sat at her desk filing her nails and chatting on the phone.

"SHADDUP!!OhmygoddidIliketellyoumydadsaidhe'dbuyme aporcheformybirthdayIknowaren'tyousojealous."

There was no one else in the taupe room there were leather chairs and magzine racks full of old issues of Fishermen Weekly, and Wired.

batgirl 04-09-2004 10:00 AM

Jade's jaw almost dropped to the floor. She walked up to the Coyote girl and cleared her throat. The girl didn't even look up. Jade waved her hand in front of the girl's face. She looked up with almost disgust and said, "Just sit down over there the doctor will see you soon." Jade shrugged and grabbed a Wired magazine as she sat down in one of the cushy chairs to wait.

OOC: And now to make it more interesting...

BIC: A servant virus rapped on the large office door. After a few seconds a booming voice said "come in." Timidly, the servant walked in only to find...nothing except a large deska nd a chair with the back to him. "Mastermind, I have a report from the outside." "Very well." "It seems like the Cyber World forces are all inside the mansion in question, along with the Agents. All of the variables are in one place master, perhaps this is the right time to..." "Silence fool! I am the one who gives the orders here. You dare tell me how to run my own program!" He waved a gloved hand, and the servant was erased on the spot. "So hard to find good help these days..." He waved his hand again and a new servant was summoned. "Y-yes master?" "Send out the order for all of my troops to mobilize. I want every available virus and wiral slave to be ready to go on my command. They will all converge upon the mansion and wipe out the Cyber Forces and Coyote in one fell swoop." "Yes master." As the servant began to leave Mastermind held out a hand to stop him. "One more thing. I want complete control and command of the army to be given over to our new general, I want everyone to know that Kaitlin is in charge and they are to follow her orders as if they were my own." "Yes Mastermind." The servant quickly left and gave out the orders.

OOC: Mwahaha!

Squishy Cheeks 04-09-2004 10:48 AM

The secretary ended her conversation and started to read a fasion magazine. Time moved slowly in the waiting room. It felt like hours went by. Then a loud screeching noise could be heard. It was like sharp nails on a chalk board it went for a minute. The coyote girl seemed to not notice it.

"Coyote Prime will see you now."

A hidden door in the wall opened behind jade. Her chair fell back into a black void.

Darth SS 04-09-2004 02:09 PM

OOC: We're all screwed

Verakshto 04-09-2004 02:15 PM

OOC: Wow, that was a busy week, and some advice, never miss the midnight train back from NYC. Anyway, I have time and I'll be jumping back in now, and since I had been hoping there would be an escher room anyway, anyone mind if I place myself in there?

BIC:

Dive had been skating around the Escher room for the past 20 minutes (ooc I assume that's how much time has passed). He couldn't say why, but when he saw the door when the mansion was reshaping itself, he couldn't resist jumping through it.

"I suppose I always did want to do this, skate around in one of those paintings." He mumbled to himself, headphones in his ears and playing his own mp3 collection (which he had been doing since arriving at the mansion anyway. "I wonder where the others are? I was hoping for a little more prep time before we jumped in for the fun. I don't even know what I'm looking for."

Glancing to the right, he saw Wolf on a staircase on one of the nearby "walls". "Heeeey!" she shouted, waving his arms, trying to get the attention of the hunter.

Wolf99x 04-09-2004 02:24 PM

OOC: Bugger! Looks like the latest developments that Jade has implemented have malfed up my plans again...but oh well...adopt, adapt, improve.

BIC: Wolf had just finished scrawling the second verse of "Sunday Bloody Sunday" into a wall when he noticed Dive waving at him. So...I'm not alone after all

He activated the two-way radio on his PDAP. "Good to see I'm not the only one stuck here, Dive. Any ideas on how we can escape?"

OOC: And now to add to the interest...(and how screwed we are)

BIC: Agent Smith recieved the new orders and scowled. She doesn't deserve to be promoted over me...but oh well...such is Mastermind's will.

He turned to Katlin "Lucky you. You get to lead the assault on Coyote's Mansion. What better way to ultimately crush your will than by being the one to order the death of Jason MacKenzie."

Katlin, now all but under Mastermind's control, did not respond. They vanished and reappeared near a massive army of Mastermind's finest troops assembled just outside of the Mansion's last known position. Katlin's attire had changed to that of a military General's uniform.

Katlin spoke in an almost zombie-like drawl.
"Today is the day we remove the last threats to Mastermind's rule. Today is the day we end this war"

Of course, she wasn't in control of what she was saying or doing, but there was nothing she could do about it.

No...I can't let him win...but I can no longer resist...Jason...forgive me... the last free part of her trapped mind thought.

Squishy Cheeks 04-09-2004 04:05 PM

Jade's chair landed with a thud in a room lined with monitors. 10 Coyotes were in the room 9 in lab coats and one lounging with a beer and a tub of popcorn.

"Welcome to my home Jade." The lounging Coyote said. "I had my children roll out the welcome mat, but it seems your friends don't like my hospitality."

The monitors showed the random shifting of the house as the improbibilty drive kept shifting the location and manner of the house.

"If they'd stop trying to kill my family and destroy my house, the drive would turn off. Oh how rude of me, these are my eldest children; Albert, Steven, Tycho, Claude, Marie, James, Isaac, Nikola, and Pythagoras."

(Does anybody remember the episode of reboot when Megabyte sends his entire army after Hexadecimal? I do.)

MC43 04-09-2004 09:34 PM

OOC: To Wolf: Or we could just break that chair...

Monk, now tired from the screaming, finally realized that there was nothing he could do. He would have to wait for death to come and take his soul from him. Knowing thes, he crossed his legs up on themselves and closed his eyes. I have failed... and there is nothing I can do. The falling seem to slow down. It has come to this... He felt like he was now on flat ground. I am sorry... A cool breeze came over his face. Ah... a breeze has come to see me off. "Wait... a breeze?" He opened his eyes and saw that he was in front of a house, a mansion of some sort. He carefully stood up, the floor seeming a little like jello, not knowing if it was his feet decieving him, or the ground really was weak, but it kept him up.

Taking one more breath, he felt rocks and grass under his feet. Looking up at the mansion he nodded at his assignment. He had people to save... however, he now had to save himself, hearing a march from behind him. Turning, he saw two agents, a woman, and several troops behind them. They were ready for war, but so wasn't Monk. Slowly getting ready to fight, All right... first I take them... THEN I save Jade. Nodding, he waited for them to make the first move.

Wolf99x 04-09-2004 10:07 PM

OOC: I think we may need to break more than 1 chair...

BIC: Agents Smith and Jackson noticed Monk standing in their path. Katlin also took notice of Monk...although with a vacant stare common amognst Mastermind's slaves...especially the Generals.

"It's him."

"The Fugitive."

"Do we proceed?"

"Yes. He is, after all..."

"Only Human."

The three started advancing on Monk, their army following close behind.

OOC: The song "Hell March" from Red Alert comes to mind right about now...and also I think we need a new chapter. Also Also...I think, JADGuy, that it's spelled "Nikolai" (If I figured out your pattern right)

Squishy Cheeks 04-10-2004 01:22 AM

ooc: it's Nikola not nikolai

Wolf99x 04-10-2004 04:12 PM

ooc: Yeah, you were right.

Verakshto 04-11-2004 01:36 AM

Dive played with his hair a little as he called back to Wolf, which was kinda wierd considering that Wolf was off to his right and that Wolf kinda had to look "up" to look at him.

"Not really sure. I suppose we need to reach the top or the center, that's generally it. Maybe the bottom? I'm not sure where we entered. This room seems to even work on my skates. I stopped moving before and took a nasty spill. However, I can still stop on stairs on my same orientation, I still got that going for me...Any ideas?"

Zephie 04-11-2004 01:57 AM
