You Guys Call Yourselves a Nerd Forum and Yet There's No Thread About Venture Bros?
 

Come on guys, that's just hardcorde dropping of many varieties of ball there.

I'd ask if anyone was excited about this coming Sunday's Season 3 Premiere, but I don't think I'll have to since (1) if you know about Venture Bros. you're already stoked and (2) if you don't know about Venture Bros. I want nothing to do with your skanky raggedy ass.

I'd ask anyone who was that excited why they didn't just go to the Adult Swim website and watch the episode right now.

Probably because nobody wants to go to the Adult Swim website.

And who would, with all that clicking once ever and watching your 15 minute TV show? What a damned hassle. Waiting the entire weekend for something you could watch right fucking now is definitely the better idea.

I have to say, Adult Swim's browser player is by far the smoothest and most reliable player I've seen. I watched the episode with just the inter segment jumps, and two 10, 5 second buffering stops in the middle of the longer portions.

Now, while the new episode isn't the strongest episode, I found it rather entertaining, and it does show us more glimpses into the workings of some of the forces in the world of The Venture Bros. I've heard from someone who works at World Leaders entertainment that there are some absolutely great episodes coming up, so there's pleanty to look forward to over the next 13 weekends.

Also, I don't call this a nerd forum. I call it "That place with the people that annoy me slightly less than other places tend to post". Also, The Venture Bros. is far too cool and awesome to be Nerd domain anyway.

I never really got into the show. One of the episodes I found entertaining, though, was Brock - naked - riding a pink dolphin to a giant naked lady in the clouds.

Ya know, I think that's my second favorite thing about the show (of course, the first thing usually changes depending on which episode I watched last). I just really like that Adult Swim has a show that has something to actually follow, instead of just jokes from earlier episodes that get repeated (although Jackson Publick and the writers totally do that part well too).
I wasn't really trying to imply that the Nerd spectrum is removed from the Awesome spectrum, as many things I consider awesome I also acknowledge as nerdy. Having said that, Venture Brothers is totally a nerdy show, and I don't think it's demeaning if I point out that fact.
Damnit Seil, I didn't make that goddamned Seil's Maxim page on Nuklearpedia just for you to come around and totally prove how much time I wasted in doing so. Just try and take some time out from your "watching old people die"-filled schedule and do a glorious run through of the best cartoon on T.V. these days, you owe me at least that much.
