I'm lazy--Build me a computer.
And I have a little over 2,000 dollars.
Someone build me a computer. Make it bitchin'. |
I would do it for you, but I don't trust my own knowledge of computers. Since you seem to get more bang for the buck with HP I'd just go for one of their more expensive models and amp it up a bit with customizations. You can get a machine that hauls ass for 2k.

Yes. I always build my computers myself.
I just don't feel like shopping. |
I suspect you would have more responses if you weren't too lazy to make a thread title that said what you wanted from people.
Perhaps that was the point? Enigmatic! |
I'm willing to do it, it's just that I had a bad day yesterday (Girl dislocated her knee at work, mom refused an ambulance, made me want to re-enact the V8 commercial) and a long day today. I should be able to whip something up in the next couple of days, if you can be patient.

Building a computer? To the Nikose-signal!
No but really, gimme a few minutes to put together some links. EDIT - If there are any parts you can salvage from your old computer(hard drives, optical drives, maybe your power source) list them. |
I make no guarantees that it will be a GOOD computer.
Send me the money, cash. I will be sure to send you back a computer.

Here's a couple of case recommendations:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16811129021 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16811103010 FOr a hardrive, just use a decently sized harddrive for an internal primary drive, and grab a large external. I recommend the MyBooks, 320 or 500 Gigs. EDIT: Mayb the more hardware savvy can say if a MoBo like this one is a good one, or find a comperable one that's good: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16813128082 Also, are there any benefits to an intel Quad-Core processor? |
