Name a good FF or FF related song.
 

Personally I like the Black Mages version of "Battle With Gilgamesh." There are a few others, too, such as "The Prolouge" and "Still More Fighting." Also, have you heard "Armoure of Invincibility?" So give me you opinions and some recomendations, too. Thanks. :fighter:

That one tune on the legendary frog movie... "Final fantasy is an RPG, it's the RPG for me, the only one I need" etc. etc. Someone probably knows the name of the song, and the guy that did it (LF just did the movie, not the song... or so he says).

Other than that... I have some remixes, but no FF ones. Too many FF remixes to wade through in order to find the good ones, not worth the effort... at least not to me.

I don't really have a favorite song. I have this radio@netscape plus thingie, which has a constant stream of ff songs from ff's 5+. It's fun to have the jenova battle music while I'm playing diablo.

Any Chocobo or Mog music really lifts my spirits for some reason. And though I don't know the names of the songs sadly, most everything from FF6. I love that cd.

I have to say scurmish (or battle, i've found both) of the silver dragons from ff9, and the Izlude battle from fft. Scurmish is a good inspirational song for my writing as is izlude.

I've got the soundtracks to ff6,7,8,and 10 on my computer. Depending on my mood, I have anything going from Celes de Merizmo, to the FF10 battle theme.

The song when Aeris died really did a good job in catching the moment.

In Chrono Trigger, I love the Frog song. The one after the sad music, when he has an epiphanic moment... that song can be stuck in your head for hours.

In FF6, I like the Celes music.

In Chrono Cross, I really like the song when you first go to the dead sea. That is when you meet that guy that travelled with Serge's father, and learn things about Chrono Trigger. That song is very good.

There are so many others, I just don't wanna think of them now.

Yeah, that album rocked. I don't personally like heavy metal, but it sure looks good on battle music.
"Decisive Battle", from FF6 is my favorite battle music, both the original and the Black Mages version. I like chocobo themes a lot, but my favorites are "Eletric de Chocobo" (FF7) and "Go, go Boko!" (FF5, the one Legendary Frog used to make his song). "The Prelude", and "Fanfarre" are just absolute FF classics (altough they really messed up the prelude in FFX). As for character themes, I go with "Celes", and it's orchestrated and vocal version "Aria de Mezzo Carattere" (FF6 Grand Finale). "Opening-Terra Theme" and "Kids Run Through The City Corners" are also great, beautiful musics from FF6...
