FZ, just because you said that, I'll be more paranoid than normal and stay downstairs until some head flys out from upstairs or the basement and run back to the mansion screaming and yelling

You know if that happens SS, you'll be the first upstairs, and the Call universe takes a perverse glee in putting things were you don't expect them...

Also, if someone with a high Idea Roll enters the kitchen, they may notice something.

Does 70 classify as a high Idea Roll?

Yar.

I just want to know If I took a bit of stone debris and used it to draw a chal cross over the symbol would anything happen?

I don't think so. You would need to know a proper spell to enchant the Cross to negate the effects of the old sign with your new one. You can just go, you got the most important item there.

Would a santification work. It technically is a christian ward against evil spirits then. I do in theory have Holy 'water' even though it's been distilled.

I don't see why not actually. The book does talk about religions being able to counter the Mythos in some minor ways, but only Mythos magic works on the big stuff. But I think that would work here.

Squishy Cheeks 04-04-2004 10:57 PM

I mean it's really a situation of my god can beat up your god. The Big Mythos boys are powerful but I think Iehova could take them one on one. But you got to think about. The big G is busy with a lot of followers., so at best your going to get a Seraphim, or Sephiroth of the Right Hand on your side. At worst you get an angel. Against a minor Mythos creature That would still be fairly effective.

True, but their aren't any rules for summoning Angels or Archangels into a scene. I don't know what would be needed to summon an Angel, or any of the Etheral servants of God, or what sorts of stats they would have on a one for one basis. However, short of a powerful Great Old One, an Angel could beat just about anything the Mythos could throw at it I believe, but I don't think it's as easy as just asking God to send an Angel to smite his foes. However, now I am intrigued to look and see if there are any allowances for this in some sort of side book...
