Then any religion could do this, not just Christianity? Like some Greek person could sacrifice a sheep to Zues to go kill some mytho beast.
|
In theory it's possible. I won't allow anything that mighty unless the rules allow it though, I'm saying that there is potential for it. Right now, he is just sticking with a simple anti-enchant to remove the enchantment on the Symbol. However, trying that on something with a powerful enchantment probably wouldn't work. There is actually one spell that a Catholic Priest would/could have, I just need to look it up and decide where he could learn it.

Before I go to bed, I'd like to say that Paul isn't going to go upstairs or into the basement, just because I don't like something happening to me while I'm sleeping. I'll just say he'll look at the stuff downstairs alittle more closely.

In Angeology, It's not till You get to Archangels and the upper choirs do angels become something special. Here's a list of the choirs if your interested. http://www.catholic.org/saints/anglchoi.shtml

Who would win, a cultist summoning Lucifer or a cultist summoning Cthulhu?
|
I'm going to give it to Cthulhu, only cause if you read Mountains of Madness it becomes dubious who his stronger, God or the elder gods. And God could kick Lucifers ass. Lucifer wasn't even a Seraphim, he was a Cherabim.
|
1. I always thought Angels were higher up then they were...
2. Hard call. Lucifer has no stats, and Cthulhu is hella' big and strong. Let me put it this way, Cthulhu has 21 points of armor, regenerates 6 damage a turn, has 160 HP, and does 21D6 of bonus damage a turn, not even regular damage. It's a tough call, but my moneys on Cthulhu. EDIT: Searches came back negative, so no members of the Choirs will be joining us this RP... |
How about Shiva? Or Hades/Pluto?
|
I think the Quote went like this. “Your God is as young as yesterday. My master was here way before.”
|
I don't know wnough about Shiva except that I think she is the God of Death for some oriental religion. As for Hades/Pluto, he was never that strong in the first place. All his actions were deciet and trickery. He mostly just made deals, and got kicked out of Olympus by Zeus. Hades is sort of equal to Nyarlethhotep (Probably spelled the name worng, but I'm too lazy to look it up), and Cthulhu would have his way with him. Cthulhu would whup Hades easy.
EDIT: I really need to find some Lovecraft books... |
