He has no EDU based skills, why would he be at the library? I'm thinking no...

EDIT: Dante, your going to wait for someone else to do all the door opening/searching, aren't you...

Damn....oh well. Just trying to avoid death. Now I know what he'll be working on between missions though.

Dr DR 04-04-2004 11:29 AM

I have very limited research skills. But I'm going to the house anyway.

I just said that he was cracking his knuckles, and checking his case, nothing else... I'll edit it in, though.

Well, my only point was that posting is a bit slow, and when someone finally did post, you post basically had next to no action in it.

And you guy wouldn't be drawing his gun at this point. He may have a bad feeling, but he knows nothing about the mythos, thus he would have no cause for this sort of aggression.

Dante 04-04-2004 11:37 AM

He didn't draw it, but he's keeping it ready. I'm figuring that his luck manifests as a kind of quasi-sixth sense, and he is getting bad vibes from here.

(Haha watch my twinkiness :p... anyway, if I die, I die, so what the hey?)

Forever Zero 04-04-2004 11:39 AM

Oh, in Call, there is always something to counter any twink...

And I guess Luck would be the best qualifyer for things like bad feelings. I didn't do a Luck Roll, but I'll allow it since it has no major effects so far...

I know, DM fiat or the Bolt of Doom.

Squishy Cheeks 04-04-2004 11:49 AM

Yeah, those twink counters are called sanity checks.

Exactly. It's hard for your 99% dodge master to dodge when he's too busy screaming and cowering in fear, and no matter how high your starting SAN, Cthulhu Mythos will always bring it down...
