I just reread this and I was wondering if we got any closure...

Did anyone ever manage to translate it?!?

Did Brian ever send an email?!?

Did he ever summon the "Cthulu-Esque Hellbeast?"

Never got a full translation, but several sources indicated that it was someone's attempt at a script for a play. All sources also confirmed that it was a very cliche and poorly written play. No one could figure out why it was sent to me.

Well a play written on 8 pages total could not have been that great, plus the duck Dodgers map as Stage Directions probably wasn't the best idea.

So did you take that anti-antrax bath, or is it choking out your life still?

Clearly they thought an endorsement from a high-flying Webcomics Tycoon such as yourself would catapult them into the stratosphere of creative celebrity.

Hey, it did get placed on a high traffic, english...speaking....website. That's kinda something. I guess.

A website whose owner writes a comic that got two Eisner nominations!

haha! I totally forgot about that! Seriously tho I think I'd have tried to send a response and get another letter from the guy.

Maybe another script. lol

It turned out that the play was about a girl getting a nose piercing for her engagement, which I think one of the translators said is an Indian tradition, only it seemed like the play was about how this was actually a bad idea or something -- it wasn't really clear and I don't think even the translator could figure out what the hell was going on. Eventually she just put it down and refused to keep reading because she said it was total nonsensical garbage.

It's too bad that the original letter seems to have been lost in the move when we came to this apartment, because the one thing Brian didn't scan was the envelope and boy howdy was that something. We really should've sent Mr. Das an e-mail -- I'm sure he would've wanted to know what became of his Upnnas, and I for one would've been happy to mail it to wherever it was he intended it to go.

What was so special about the envelope??? I must know more!
