Holy crap, DB Online?

I think I'm far behind in the loop on this one, but I'm a fan of Dragonball and this made me actually consider going back to watch my DB (and maybe some DBZ) episodes again (subbed, not dubbed, of course)

DBZ Online

Am I pretty much the ONLY one who didn't know about this? :p

Well this is pretty old news. Though as far I know it's only going through Japan.

Jagos 06-05-2008 08:10 PM

Korea first, then Japan with the US announced. :)

I'd play it, though I'd run through a trial first.

The "Time Machine Mission" thing seems pretty cool. It also makes me realize that I'd rather play a Chrono Trigger MMO.

Me too, but the odds of that happening are...sad.
Still, this intrigues me. But yeah, I'll run trial before I make a decision.

arent most Japan based MMO's free to play with a premium option? If that translates to the English version, i would totally be in... this actually feels somewhat fresh in the MMO department

Loyal 06-05-2008 10:16 PM

Pretty sure it's the Korean ones that are free-with-premiums.

Where's the flying?

Flying's probably one of those retarded level-restricted travelling powers.

I'm looking at you, every MMO I've ever played. Seriously, why don't they just let you fly/ride/jump/what have you right off the bat? It would help to get to places faster, and it would keep some peoples' attention better.

Savage Thinking 06-05-2008 10:27 PM

Atleast flying is somewhat justified. In DBZ, flying is something someone has to learn overtime, unlike walking and jumping. I mean, look at the episode in which Videl and Goten learn how to fly.

Rokrin 06-06-2008 07:12 AM

Flying is available (I think the wikipedia article refers to it in it's japanese form as Bukujutsu), but I haven't found WHEN you learn it. That'd be something I'd like to know.

It'll be interesting though; I'm looking forward to at least being able to pull Rokrin back to his roots, because the entire character of Rokrin started with a DB RPG when I was younger.
