Your AS schedual

If you could program your own Adult Swim schedual, what shows would you have. I would start with Inuyasha at 10:00, Tenchi Muyo at 11:00, Kikaider at 11:30, Yu Yu Hakasho at 12:00, and Cowboy Bebob at 12:30. Yu Yu is exchangeable with an uncensored version of Ruroni Kension (if one exists).

GatoFiero 03-31-2004 10:08 PM

10:00 - Naruto
10:30 - Slayers
11:00 - Hyper Police
11:30 - Vandread
12:00 - Ranma
12:30 - Ranma

Nosferatu 03-31-2004 10:14 PM

10:00 Hellsing*
11:00 Inuyasha
12:00 Pilot Candidate
1:00 Kenshin uncencered also

*Note hellsing never can and/or will be shown on Cartoon network/Adult swim, since they only show mildly graphic anime's and Helsing is probaly one of the most graphic out there.

Stabbitty Death 03-31-2004 10:32 PM

I didn't like Pilot Candidate. I don't think the people at AS did either because they've made a few jokes about it on their cards before comercials.

Nosferatu 03-31-2004 10:35 PM

IF they let it air longer it probaly woulda explained alota stuff and got better, i meen hey look at Witch Hunter Robin(ends way to prematuarly)

Personally, I hate Cartoon Network. Not for what they show...well, for a little of what they show. But, for how they show it. My anime-watching friends and I are subscribed to Newtype and whenever we hear about a new, great looking anime about to be released, we start saving up to buy it. CN ruins this by putting whatever series it is on the air. And this drives up the price like crazy. Before FLCL was shown, the entire series on hybrid DVD was about $30. Now, you can get all SIX episodes for just one easy payment of $100.00. Even on Ebay I can't find it cheaper. Editing doesn't help my opinion either.

Removing Scooby Doo completely from their schedule wouldn't hurt. Damn dog. It should be put to sleep.

StormRider 03-31-2004 11:29 PM

Bob, I could not agree with you more on the Scooby Doo thing.

As for my schedule, it's quite simple. All Family Guy. All the time.

OK, on a bit more serious note, here's a real one. I'm not really into anime, but these are a few that I like.

10:00 Family Guy
11:00 Futurama
11:30 Inuyasha
12:00 Rurouni Kenshin
12:30 Yu Yu Hakusho

All of them unedited, of course.

Outbounder 04-01-2004 12:22 AM

10:00 Family Guy
10:30 Futurama
11:00 Trigun
11:30 Trigun
12:00 Kenshin
12:30 Escaflowne

StormRider 04-01-2004 12:23 AM

I've only seen one episode of Trigun, but a bunch of my friends like it. I've heard of Escaflowne, but I'm only vaguely aware of what it's about.

All good choices everyone. Here's mine (all KC times):

10:00 - Tenchi Muyo (have it be one run through of whatever anime hasn't been seen in a long time, like later show Gundam and Pilot Candidate and other "used to be on's")
10:30 - Yu Yu Hakusho (edited Toonami version sucks)
11:00 - Inuyasha
11:30 - Ranma (never seen it - hour of Rumiko Takahashi  (i think that's her name))
12:00 - Big O
12:30 - Slayers (never seen it)

I laughed hysterically when I learned that they were going to show Evangelion during "Giant Robot Week" on Toonami. I thought there was no way they could show that. Turns out they cut episodes two and three down to one 15 minute session.

I thought Pilot Candidate was before they used the cards. In fact I'm pretty sure of it. Edit: nevermind, I read your comment wrong.
