In-comically speaking it's cause the original Black Belt got blasted into ashes so there wasn't enough left of him to bring back and the backup copy met the fate indicated above.

But I think we all know the real reason is Brian's an asshole who hates you.

Dammit, Fifth, if you're gonna keep blabbling my secrets to everyone, then I'm gonna stop telling you about them. Eventually.

Fifthfiend 06-16-2008 11:46 AM

So I shouldn't tell them about that time with the gerbil?

Funka Genocide 06-16-2008 11:57 AM

Heh, yeah I remember that one.

I still call shenanigans, but yeah, blood fountain from the head, funny stuff.

If she could re-materialize that much of black belt... what was stopping her from fixing the tip of his head ??
Also, doesn't reviving work by bringing back their soul ?? So what happened there ??

Back in Garland's castle the first time, Black Belt got lost and somehow was so stupid he split himself into two different people. Black Mage turned one into stone and threw it into the lake of mountain dew.

The original black belt was cut into pieces, then burned and exploded by a volcano.

White Mage revived the black belt who had been turned into stone but the mountain dew had dissolved the top half of his head, and thus he immediately bled to death.

There are no True Ressurection spells in the world of final fantasy. When a body has been destroyed to this degree, there is no force that can return it to life.

Reviving someone into an incomplete body tends to have only temporary success.

Ever.

Shut up.

Sheesh, aren't we grumpy about it. Learn the difference between idiots posting revival theories the same revival theory over and over and people half-jokingly speculating before you tell anyone to shut up.

The top of his head got dissolved... by a delicious soft drink...

Ok, I know the comic doesn't have much logic, but that is just strange. If it was evil mountian dew then it might make a bit more sence.
