#1007: "That is totally true!"

I know it's been said before, but really, Fighter is a helper.

Oh my lord. I burst out laughing so hard.

Brian, I don't know how you do it but if it was possible for a man to carry another man's babies, I would have yours and you would be arrested for statutory.

What the hell did that card SAY?

Lord Setheris 06-18-2008 11:25 PM

Hopefully the card involved dragon-bait. We all know how dragon's love ketchup.

So you trying to get adminship or what?

Really though, comic deserves this praise. Love it, though I should have expected it. :p

All Shakespeare did was create beared women and call them witches, then have a couple emo teens commit suicide cause their parents wouldn't let them be together.

Brian on the other hand had created a fantastic work of art from nothing, sticking to the developing characters and fluid storyline, balancing numerous simultaneous plot lines occurring all across a fictional world based on a mostly decent game made for Nintendo over 20 years ago.

Brian is original and incredible, unlike that fraud Shakespeare (zomg the story of a man falling for the bitchy girl who ends up being the nicer, more obedient one, SO original Mr. Taming of the Shrew). The only reason he DOESN'T make all the lines follow iambic pentameter is because it would make the text uneven. Also it wouldn't be as funny.

Just to cement my point, lets compare some of Brian's humor to Shakespeare's humor.

Shakespeare: "What? With my tongue in your tail? Nay, come again."
Brian: "THE CLAW!!!"

Shakespeare: "Strike me and you will lose more than your arms."
Brian: "Eat Electric Death, Old Man!"

Shakespeare: ((insert the entire excessively long description of Petruchio's vestments when he shows up for his wedding in Taming of the Shrew. Seriously. Putting it here would have doubled the length of this post, I'm not even kidding.))
Brian: "I'm a helper!"

I wonder how this plan will eventually end up screwing them.

Always.

But yeah seriously, this is my personal favorite strip of late.

POS Industries 06-19-2008 01:35 AM

Because what Fenris needs is to be forced to do everything even peripherally involved with this place. I mean, what's more important: Fenris' sanity or making sure Fifth and Krylo don't screw things up further?

Also, I really do have to say that the comic really has been on quite the roll lately. Going all-out for the grand finale, I guess.
