Dinosaurs Was An Amazing Show

And if you don't agree it's because you suck.

If you are uninformed, I pity you just enough to give you this link and mock you for not knowing of it sooner.

I remember the existance of this show but not at all what happened in it. I can't even remember if I watched it or not. The fact I remember it probably means something though.

I wish I had seen the last episode of Dinosaurs, in which every character dies. Even that damn, evil baby.

It was, after the humor and fun of the entire series, really depressing since they had a whole new set of music playing during the episode which was more sad and morose. Plus, lots of the humor started to vanish in favor of some pretty emotional dialog. I saw it once and I swore I'd skip it from then on because I liked Dinosaurs too much to see it again.

Oh my god I remember this show! I saw the title and thought, "That sounds familiar..." and then you posted that link and I was, like, "Oh my god I remember this show!" It kind of freaked me out when I was a kid and didn't watch to many episodes of it, but.... wait.... they all die at the end? ..... :(

They implied it. It was because of Global Cooling or some shit.

One of the best parts of the show was, for a family-aimed Sitcom, it tackled some pretty heavy social issues. Unlike the "Namecalling", "Getting a earring without permission" and "Yelling at a parent", which were the hieght of drama on shows like Full House, It tackled several important issues such as enviromental awareness, endangered species, even things like homosexuality and communism (in the guise of beign a herbivore). It was a surprisingly topical show, especially given it's premise.

Mirai Gen 07-01-2008 01:36 PM

The best part was if they ever needed to be preachy about the issues like that it was still hilarious.

My favorite example of this was the marijuana episode. You spend the entire episode laughing at everyone getting stoned as hell and acting like idiots. At the end they all break and act like the dinosaurs are the actors on Dinosaurs, and Robbie starts talking about how the viewers should "Say no to drugs, to stop preachy sitcoms like this one."

EDIT:A clip from the Weed episode.

I remember that show, I used to watch it a lot when I was younger. I don't remember much of the actual content from the episodes, but I do remember that it was one of my favourite shows at the time. I didn't know that everybody died at the end, though. I don't think I saw that one.

One episode that stood out to me was the steroids one.

I always thought it was weird that whenever they beefed up, they also grew spikes..
