Doppleganger sighed and turned to the being that seemed so intent on his destruction. "Can't you see I'm immune to your attacks? This is my realm. I rule this mind just as surely as Steven does, maybe moreso, but you treat me like an enemy, with no evidence, all in the name of curing Steven. I'm leaving, go to the industrial district so you can kill your next negative emotion, and quit wasting your time with me."

Ic: Crovax growled at doppleganger as he left, and once again he hit the ground like a sack of bricks...

Alice frowned and saddened a bit, she was highly disappointed a massive battle didn't start right there in front of her. Then again, maybe it was for the best, she wasn't so sure she could handle it if in the midst of this brawl she got used as a shield or sneak attacked. So, as helpful a meal that would have been, she wasn't too mad about it. Though, Corvax collapsed, and she didn't know why. Alice ran over with Steven to his side, and began to try to get him up, shaking his body lightly.

"C'mon, get up. Don't go like this, I need you." To be my bodyguard until I grow strong enough, "Help me restore this man's mind, we need you to do this, to cleanse this mind of this darkness...." So I can gobble up everything you raze in your quest, and grow from the easier to digest meals, "Please......" Alice simply stopped, and closed her, eyes, holding onto Steven and thinking deeply about a few things.

Crovax awoke slowly his vison hazing in and out, hearing only bits and pieces of what alice said.
Don't go li.. th.. I...need you.. restore.....mind..cleanse..grow stronger slightly delusional now He then said weakly to Alice looking her in the eye.
"You remind me so much of my little girl Alice, always caring and wanting to help, ah if you only could have known her.."
with that he faded out for just a little longer

She smiled, satisfied with this response from him, and stopped being so worried bout his well-being. "Ah, good. I hope you get better." I need you to, anyway. Alice sat down next to him, and watched him fall back into a peaceful rest, holding his head for a bit of time. She sat there smiling and reassuring Steven everything would be fine, waiting for Corvax to get up. She smiled, giggling to herself and humming a soft tune to keep her own mind in check out of boredom while she waited for him to get up.

Steven ran over, yelling, "Don't fight him!" But as he approached, and saw the fight had already ended, he frowned and looked worried. "He might not be a bad guy..."

It was mid-day by the time Crovax woke from his restoration coma. He sat up and smiled warmly at Alice, and Steven.Wearily scratching his head he got up and rubbed the sleep from his eyes, and strected his wings out, he then spoke to steven in a gravelly voice(still semi transformed in tha voice box) So Steven you feel like going home now that this is all handled?

"Crovax, don't hurt Doppleganger, he might be a good guy," Steven told the waking man.

Crovax looked very confused now ?-? Doppleganger a good guy? I'm sorry kido but that guys tried to injure Alice here in the past, and any man that'll hurt a little girl is'nt good in my book.

"You know, Steven might be right. If Doppler is really on our side, then thats a good thing for us." Alice grabbed onto Corvax's hand, and got next to him with a smile. [color-violet]"Need any help getting up?" Good force, bad force, its the same, in the end he's just emotional food after all, all of this is.....[/color] Alice made sure that she made her touch easing and soothing, trying to be very gentle in how she lifted him upward into a sitting position.
