Isn't it weird how the odd-numbered year E3s tend to suck while the even-numbered ones rule? I point to 2004 and 2006 as my evidence.

I am weirdly looking forward to Wiicarus despite having not really liked the original game.

People, the game is called "Kiwii." Get it straight.

Kiwii? For Kid Icarus? That's a bit too short, I'd say.

You know what would be funny? If the new Kid Icarus was so hard, almost no one bothered to get past the first level, like the first game. That'd be a laugh. However, I'll settle on a good, playable game as well. A new Ice Climber would be neat, too. They can revive two games with annoying and frustrating NES releases at once!

And somebody better post a link to a video of Nintendo's press conference. I couldn't find Microsoft's and didn't bother looking hard.

...Yeah, it'll be interesting to see how the Sony folks respond to Microsoft's announcement.

Despite the FFXIII shindig, though, I was personally a bit disappointed with Microsoft.

Really, many wont see it like that... and in the end it will sell like a Bitch still, anyways... but right now, i Think Microsoft has already lost all respect for itself... with the whole "Copying everyone elses ideas" and the "HD-DVD went down in flames" stuff.. and the "Getting a Ps3 game for us is the best thing we have to offer this year, because god knows we cant offer our own high quality products".

The thing that botters me the most is that FF13 can end up like Assassins Creed. That game LOST quality big tme when it went Multiplatform. And seeing what Square wanted with FF13 and thinking it will feature in DVD instead of Bluray makes me think the following:

1- Huge downgrade, FF13 probably sucks
2- A Few (3-6) Dvd's and the game must be installed in the XBox HD to play
3- Not the same version of FF13 for each Game

That botters me too.

The article posted in the previous thread asserts that 360 porting won't start until after the retail release of the Japanese FFXIII and after they begin the localisation. Any "downgrades", as you call them, won't affect the PS3 version at all.
