So Comic Con...
Edited to add: I'm an idiot...
The way I read Brian's news post, it sounded like he was going to have a booth. Apparently, sarcasm goes right over my head. Well I'm going, and apparently so is Brian... Anybody else? While I couldn't find Red 5 comics on the Exhibitor's list. Or on the map, it might show up in the book. Maybe, unless Brian is lying (but given that Red 5 comics is a nominee for some award or something, I'd think they'd be there.) This is going to be my 3rd (final?) one. Welp, maybe I'll see you there. Or not, I'm kinda embarrassed by the adult braces I've got in for just this year. SWB - I'm actually going up from the 20-28th, so I can get in things like the Zoo & maybe Sea World. Plus, I suppose I should at least stick my foot in the other ocean just once. |
Comic-con's one of those things I always think it'd be neat to go to if it only occurred to me to look into going sometime prior to two days before the thing is supposed to happen.

I'll be there.

For those who wonder, I did meet Brian. We exchanged Hi shook hands, & that was pretty much it.
Afterwards I found myself wandering torwards the Konami booth where I opted not to sign up for the Metal Gear Online tournament . No need to completely embarrass myself (trust me, I'm that bad). SWB / Kevin Sigmund |

Not that I'm projecting onto you and Brian -- I don't know whether you two even have talked here much in the forums, and I shouldn't speculate -- but your post just jogged my memory of the few times in my life when I've run into folks I met in internet message board communities like NPF. A few years back when I was active on GameFAQs, for example, there was this guy with the username GunMage who I interacted with and got to know on the boards and even AIM for at least a couple years. Then in 2004 or 2005 I finally found out he was visiting the city in which I resided for a few days so I was like, "Hey, let's grab lunch sometime and actually continue this conversation in person!" I'm usually a pretty sociable guy among friends I'm comfortable with but when "GunMage" (real name = Rob) walked into the burger joint it turned out to be a fairly boring meeting. We had opened up bigtime online about every facet of our lives on IM and the boards -- I knew how old he was, what he looked like, about the girlfriend issues he had gone through, his academic struggles, etc. But then suddenly, in person, we both froze up and didn't really talk about anything of importance. It was...weird. As if we were strangers. |
Well me & Brian are strangers, really I send him sprites I think he can use, and beyond that we hardly talk Via e-mail.
So frankly our real life conversation was about the same length as any of our e-mails From the American Dad/ Family Guy panel: Something, something, something Dark Side... Family Guy Empire Strikes Back parody... Cleavland leaves Family Guy, for spin off. Seth Green, responding to question if there is r rivalry between Robot chicken & Family Guy: Rivalry? No, there's nothing but love. Seth (M) could you just scooch back a bit? (Seth G disappears between Seth M's legs hits head? on table makes a smacking lips as he sits back down.) Seth M: RC & FG are two completely seperate shows. They share jokes, themes & content but aside from that completely seperate. |
So was it true they showed footage of Wolverine Origins featuring Deadpool But Let's Face It, It's A Deadpool Movie?

In this movie Weapon x did not disband after Wolvie escaped. However while DP is a flipant & fun character I dont think he's the same as the comic character. |
