I would think that now with Crane gone, Arkham will be more secure.
I know that's not how it is in the books, but no one broke out in the year since Batman Begins, so, that's prolly the explanation. |
I sorta chuckled when Batman had those screens go over his eyes because it reminded me that with every hero who has a mask, their eyes go white automatically.
It was a damn good movie and Heath Ledger did a damn fine job as the Joker. I mean there were some parts where it got a bit uncomfortable with him, but he is defiantly deserving of an Oscar. My one very very shallow complaint is that they didn;t use the line. |
Which one? (Sorry for the short post, but I'm like really curious...)
|
"I'm the goddamn Batman"
I mean it would have been cheesy as all get out. But I am sure there would have been a few happy people. |
Do we get just one, "You ever dance with the devil in the pale moonlight?" from Ledger?
|
We got "I'm Batman" in Batman Begins, it was epic enough then and we don't need any more throwbacks.
|
I really wanted the Joker to tell the joke from The Killing Joke.
|
This movie has the best magic trick of all time, a heartwarming moment that made the audience clap, and the BEST JOKER EVER. PERIOD. I love the stories the Joker made up about how he got his scars. At first I thought that was the truth, but the second and third times he decided to tell stories removed those thoughts from my head.

It's something like: "Two inmates planned an escape from Arkham Asylum. They managed to steal some flashlights and get to the roof. One of them easily jumped across the gap to the building next door, but the other one was scared. So the one who jumped says 'I'll put a beam across and you can walk over.' And the other one says, 'How do I know you're not just gonna turn it off when I'm halfway across?'
Something like that. It makes sense with the context. |
